Brave Little Girl Calls 911 To Save Dad’s Life, And Her Conversation With The Dispatcher Is Cracking Everyone Up
Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Some time ago, Savannah Hensley’s father Frank found himself in trouble, experiencing chest pains and having difficulty breathing. He dialed 911 to get help, but just as the call went through, Frank lost the ability to talk. And that’s when Savannah stepped up. Back then, she was only 5 years old.
After the operator made sure that help was on its way, he tried keeping Savannah by her father’s side in case things took a turn to the worse. What followed next was probably the smartest and most adorable conversation a girl this young can have.
“Most people, when you talk with them, they’re so hysterical,” Hancock County dispatcher Jason Bonham, the man who received the call, noted. “Every time I’ve listed to it, it’s amazing. She’s just a little person.”
For nearly 10 minutes, Savannah stayed on the line handling a scary situation with courage. Scroll down to check out their exchange and tell us what you think about it in the comments!
"I'm in my jammies so I'll have to get dressed" haha. Gotta love kids. Glad she was able to help her dad. Great kid.
Lmao idk where you guys are from, but in the states "jammies" means pyjamas. The clothing you wear when going to bed or relaxing.
It does in the UK too though we might be more likely to say PJs.
yep

you should look up what that means
Candace Formosa - are you easily shocked or something? Have your own made up language?
What the hell are you talking about
Jammies - plural only means pyjamas. If you are talking about jammy SINGULAR it can mean lucky, gun or dick. I suppose you are having a childish giggle at the thought it might mean dick? FFS.
What what I understand pyjamas is a word India for similar garments
candace formosa what do you mean?

Sad that the people in the States teach their kids to be so prudish at such a young age.
Is that a reference to the pyjamas thing? I would see your point if it was a grown-up saying they have to change to look good for the ambulance, but we talk about a 5 year old. In that age one can't even fully comprehend how bad the situation actually is.
I think it has more to do with putting a good impression than prudishness ( but yes, as in general American culture is still puritanical - where violence is mostly acceptable and nudity censored...) still, I'm betting her wanting to dress isn't about modesty- she probably loves to dress up and show off her pretty clothes
She did a great job. A very brave girl. I wonder how thing endet. Did her dad recover?
He did! This happened in about 2010. https://www.inspiremore.com/911-call-savannah/

Says Daddy ended up being fine thanks the young Savannah! agree night owl she was indeed very calm & brave. may she always be a model for me to always learn how cope without my anxieties get the best of me.

I've heard of this story for a while now...it still gets me every time. I remember my dad's first heart attack (first of many) and it was the scariest thing of my life. He was saying his goodbyes on the way to the hospital and...ugh, I was freaking out. This girl is so brave!!
