Series Of Fire Spiral Gifs Inspired By The Use Of Light And Repetition
Most of my work is about repetition and seamless infinite loops. Ever since I was studying animation I discovered Canadian animator Norman McLaren playful films and I got obsessed with the use of light and repetition.
I started this series at the beginning of this year. I had the idea from a long time bouncing on my head, so I just did it.
The process involves working at low light, mostly nights. I choose my composition and film about 2 min to 3 min. I go around the subject with a light or a lighter (spiraling or making circles).
