It took me a while to figure q.20 out; the middle row is irrelevant. If you imagine the boxes on the top row pushed together the lines inside them meet to form two continuous lines. The bottom row follows the same rule, so the right edge of the top line in the first box meets the left edge of the top line in the second box, and the same for the bottom lines. The pattern is completed with the box containing lines that meet the edges of the lines on the right edge of the middle box.

I see the pattern as - if you look at the point the internal lines meet the edge of one square, it gives the height reference for the start point of the lines in the next square, if that makes sense? It's hard to describe with words 😅 but that's the theory I used and got the correct answer

Yeah, No. 20 is complete random nonsense. That's not a 'pattern', that's arbitrary whimsy.

Had the same issue. Guess is something with rotating the lines but are not certain.
