Hilariously Unbelievable Encounters With Goats That Prove They’re Actually Genius Trolls

Goats are badass. For example, they can climb cliffs even Alex Honnold probably wouldn’t. And if you don’t know who he is, just watch this. But that’s not all. They’ve perfected the art of trolling better than Vincent van Gogh mastered painting.

Recently, one parent shared a story about the time they took their children to a local farm. It starts when they found a goat with its head stuck in a fence and ends in a way they didn’t expect. Amused by the hilarious event, people started sharing similar experiences of their own, proving that underneath a goat’s quirky horns and beard lies a savage soul, constantly searching for mischievous adventures.

My goats figured out that the bottom strand of the electric mesh fence wasn't live and the older females would always cajole the male or, when we didn't have a male, the lowest female on the totem pole to pull the fence up and let the rest of the herd out. Of course the one pulling up the fence couldn't get out and would often get tangled and we would have to initiate rescue of the tangled goat and recovery of the wandering herd.

I had a Pygmy Goat names Tee (as in Goat-tee). it was a little female, VERY bonded to me. Followed me EVERYWHERE! I dressed her in dog clothes and treated her no differently than my dogs. Later, when I ran a Humane Society sanctioned sanctuary farm, we got a goat in that had been seized from its owner due to neglect. We only had that one goat on the farm at the time. As they said, a lone goat doesnt work. I gave up trying to keep him in ANY type of closure after a week. He took up with the dogs. We had built the 3 dogs a "doggy condo" with 2 entrances heat/air dependant on the weather. They could come in or stay out as they wanted. When you came up the driveway, out of the doggie condos 2 doors were 3 dog heads...and a goat head, to see who was arriving! LOL

They're really cool but also kind of a pain in the butt and they need a friend, so you can't have just one. If you get goats, please be prepared for their crazy antics!!

Hahaha, so many pictures of goats that are "stuck". I have some family friends that keep goats with lots of place for tem to run around; I used to pet and help care of them when I visited. I should ask them if they have their own Brenda. BTW, goat milk and cheese are much more intense than store bought cow milk and cheese.

There are goats down the way from us and every time we go out my husband will take that street just so I can see the goats. I like the season where all the little babies are born and they play and jump up on stuff the people put in the pasture for them. I just don't understand why the two lots on each side that is owned by other people won't let the goats take care of their tall dry weeds and grasses. Anyway they do have plenty of food and a few different fenced in areas that they are put in. There is also a barn with a side shaded roof for them to get under if it's to hot or raining. I think these goats are so hansom . I also wanted to see if they were in the front yard when I didn't see any at all . My husband took the road to the front of the house and there was one large goat and two very large dogs guarding the house and goat. We didn't get out of the car. The private road had fields of dry grasses . I can only assume that they harvest these for winter food.

I had a similar experience calling the state troopers about a goat chillin' in the median of I65 in Kentucky. As soon as I mentioned the mile marker, he said "the goat?". Turns out his name is Houdini and he has a sizable facebook following.

Seems like goats are like dogs. They do not care for being alone.

It'a amazing how easy we fall for animals while we don't see people the same way. must be their fur. Even a bull it's more gallant than people.

We had a male goat - Caramel - who got his head stuck in wire fence for real. He panicked, began freaking out which made it worse. Starting blowing gobs of snot out his nose as we frantically worked to free him. Loosened it a bit but I finally had to get wire cutter from my truck to cut him out.

I used to really like goats. Until the day a tiny cute goat bit me completely out of the blue, so damn hard I bled like he'll and almost fainted from the pain.
