The only thing more stylish (and embarrassing) than a fashion chicken is a fashion dad. As we grow older, our sense of shame changes. We’re no longer moved by the things that would have once made us go red like a tomato. Well, most of us aren’t.
A perfect example of how age tends to dull our sense of what’s humiliating and what’s not can be found by taking a look at the Fashion Dads page on Instagram. Here, dads from around the world parade around in ‘stylish’ and ‘fashionable’ clothes that would make some of us run away and wish that we were adopted.
Not all heroes wear capes, but they do wear stylish clothes. And the hero, in this case, is the Fashion Dads Instagram account that enchanted us with its photos and hilarious descriptions. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Easter fashion is my FAVE! I just came from a church where I was turning heads in one of my most stylish ensembles: A hot pink suit custom made by Tom Ford himself with the perfect yellow accents--Ferragamo loafers, Express Men blouse, pocket square (obvi), and my finest mall kiosk hat. The fact that my phone case matches--well that goes without saying.
The Fashion Dads page on Instagram has over 179,000 followers and I’m willing to bet that a lot of them are fathers who can’t wait to mentally torture their family members by wearing fun but flamboyant outfits.
I just hope that not too many dads decide to ‘liven up’ their families’ Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas celebrations by dressing like avant-garde models on a runway. However, if you’re a dad and you’re planning something similar, please send us pictures. And videos. And a piece of that delicious Thanksgiving turkey.

Mondays are tough on everyone but like I always say: If you dress to impress, you'll see success! I kept it colorful with this printed pant from the LMFAO Party Rock collection at Kohls, a matching Tommy Hilfiger polo, a chocolate brown golf cap, and my Clarks penny loafers. I'm feeling confident, cheerful and ready to take on the week.
We all make fashion mistakes. Especially guys. It’s in our genes (no, not jeans; genes). Helpfully, Esquire magazine has some handy tips for men about what they should avoid doing when it comes to the wardrobe.
Here’s my chance to finally spread my gospel about suits (and Esquire agrees with me): don’t fasten the bottom button on your suit. Or the fashion police will jail you because only hipsters and dorks button everything. You have no idea how many times I’ve pointed this out to random people on the street. Buying a suit isn’t enough; you have to know how to wear it properly in order to look good.

Here is the 2nd installment of the highly anticipated Airport Fashion Blog! On my redeye to Disney World I knew I would be getting right off the plane and heading to the magic kingdom. For that reason, I chose to wear something chic and comfortable. To start this ensemble I threw on a two-tone dry-fit Champion cut-off matched with my personal favorite Disney character Minnie Mouse compression leggings by Kmart. I always like to finish it off with a comfortable pair of metallic Nike running shoes. Now you're ready to hit the parks in style!

This post is a little different than my OOTDs but you guys have been asking about my sleepwear lately and I never let my fans down!! First of all, I need to be cozy and comfortable. Secondly, I LOVE to coordinate prints. I found these plaid flannel sheets and matching pajamas at an Eddie Bauer outlet in Reno during last year's Fashion Bloggers International conference and literally died! Not only do they make for ahhh-mazing photo opps for my blog, but I feel so chic when I sleep!

The weather is unseasonably warm so what better time to break out some fun, flirty prints? When I mix patterns, I go all the way, head-to-toe, because true fashionistas never half-a$$ it. So today I've paired a trendy plaid Bermuda Short from Bold Navy with a tropical Pac Sun button-down and a stylish ruby red belt from (you guessed it) Ferragamo! I've treated my feet with custom DrSuess socks and a pair of chic toms espadrilles in a sassy plaid print. This look can transition perfectly from a casual cookout to a swanky rooftop party, and you never know where SundayFunday could take you!

You might not now, but middle age men in Belgium have this type of clothes as some kind of uniform/fashion statement/status symbol... Preferably black socks in black shoes though.
Esquire also adds that wearing skinny ties should be considered a crime against style. And I wholeheartedly agree. Unless you’re as skinny as a reed yourself, get yourself a proper tie. Failing that, go watch the first few episodes of Suits and let the dashing Harvey Specter convince you!

I have had a lot of inquiries about what to wear to the airport. YOU HAVE BEEN HEARD!!! I am on my way to the Dallas Apparel Market so you know I have to dress loud and proud. Today I paired shamrock green silk pants with a harlequin shirt. I threw on my limited edition Louis Vuitton For Kohls vest and matched it with a white fedora to break up the green. I always like to throw on a pair of vintage Champion basketball shoes to make sure my feet are comfortable throughout the day! And who could forget their XXXXL Louis Vuitton wardrobe bag, nobody duh

With all this cold weather it's important to stay warm and still stand out! When walking your pet you have to make sure both of you look AMAZING!!! No better way to do this than matching Eddie Bauer plaid! I paired this with a Wilsons pleather jacket and my favorite Kenneth Cole AP (all-purpose) loafers

It's a little something I call T-shirt Tuesday--my favorite day of the week to express my personal style. I chose this custom black labrador tee (for obvious reasons lol) and paired it with light khaki American eagle cargo shorts, white athletic socks, and my fashionable yet functional vintage reeboks. WHEW we have quite a nor'easter brewing and it is crucial that you dress accordingly, but still stick to your sassy signature style! I love to wear heavy-duty basics with a dash of fun flair when I face the elements -- always putting the "fun" in functional, amirite?! Today I have chosen a custom pair of Spongebob Flair Pants and my chic Grinch Trucker Hat to complement my Kenneth Cold puffer jacket and Brrrberry galoshes. The way the neighbors are admiring me, you might call me the eye of the storm.

I'd be lying if I said denim fabrics and color schemes haven't played a starring role in my wardrobe this winter and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. Yes these shorts are acceptable in the spring/summer, but I can't seem to take them off. You can literally wear them with anything! This custom tee goes without saying

Neil diamond concert + fireworks and I have my trusty binoculars to capture all the action! Once the sun sets I'm ready to turn up, hence my fave party tee and I paired it with a slick pair of arizona relaxed fit jeans and a classic belt from Wilson's leather. My vintage Timex speaks for itself.

My fans have been asking me NONSTOP to share my favorite Christmas fashions and I just got the photos back from my photographer so here is a SNEAK PEEK! I revolved most of my looks around this custom Ninja bread Man turtleneck, made for me by my dear friend Alexander Wang. Love Him. With a statement piece like this, you don't really need much else to stand out, so I just paired this t-neck with a pair of classic Diesel For Dad jeans and a chic silver belt buckle. I just LOVE holiday fashion and being able to showcase my designer friends as well.

Just because I'm scaling a mountain does not mean I'm sacrificing fashion! On Wilderness Wednesday I always like to show you guys my trendiest outdoorsy outfits. Today I'm doing a very stylish look I like to call Fratletic. I have taken a vintage navy and cream top from Structure over a denim button-down (the subtle collar peek is one of my signature accents) and paired it with a classic Adidads track pant. The mix of blue hues just looks so FAB together, don't you think? On a normal day, I would complete this look with my white New Balances but on Wilderness Wednesday, I have chosen a rugged but chic LLBean all-terrain high-top. Now I can explore the great outdoors en vogue

Happy fashion friday, friends! I'm enjoying a leisurely day to end a busy week and wore one of my favorite ensembles to meet a colleague for lunch. I paired vintage Umbro shorts with a long-sleeve T-shirt for a stylish yet subtle lunch look, then completed the outfit with my classic white athletic socks and Teva sandals. You can never go wrong with sandals and socks!

Like my fave designer dianawarner always says, FASHION SHOULD BE FUN!! So what better day to keep it light and playful than April Fools Day! I'm wearing my favorite custom self-portrait T-shirt with a vintage Versace cloak over it (not pictured: Faded Glory Cargo Pants and metallic silver Crocs). Farmer Fashion Dads need a rest day once in a while! I'm taking this Fathers Day to chillax with a cold brewski in my fave recliner wearing one of my most Casual Chic ensembles--understated Faded Glory overalls (they are back, betches!!) with some patchwork accents over a burgundy Carharrt tee and a sassy black ball cap. The custom knee pad is not only to support my IT band from a recent injury in the fields, but it's also a fab accessory! My only regret with this pic is that you can't see my Rockport sneakers but you can just imagine how sleek and stylish they are!

Omg I LOVE blizzards -- they are the perfect opportunity to showcase your Snow Style!! Today, I am doing a Fabulous Fur theme with this stunning mink vest I picked up at Goodwill Upper East Side. With a vest like this, you don't really need much else to look good, but let's be honest -- just good is never good enough. So I threw on a cozy Eddie Bauer pullover in classic black and a sassy pair of Nike athletic shorts to show a little leg. I have to be honest with you guys...even when I'm just running errands, I love to turn heads with my style! I'm doing a little Sunday Funday shopping at Target and have chosen to model a bold winter ensemble. Not everyone feels confident wearing shorts in the winter but the trick is to pair them with Uggs! You get to show a little skin but keep the majority of your lovely legs warm. These chambray shorts pair perfectly with camel-colored Uggs and a sleek black hoodie from...you guessed it...Mossimo! Can't deny my love for Target Style!

Accessories can truly make or break any outfit. In this case I worked around my head lamp by pairing it with a vintage Aeropostale plaid, complementary plaid pajama pant, and my Rockport house shoes. Just because you're lounging around the house doesn't mean you should sacrifice style! And remember to choose flattering poses during your photo shoots like this Skinny Arm.

The inner diva in me always wants to dress up, but when I'm working from home, that can seem a little impractical. So I find the best of both worlds in my Canadian Tuxedo--relaxed fit Wangler jeans with a denim collared shirt tucked in and another layered over it for a true Style Statement. A monochromatic look like this will always make you feel cute and confident.

Fabulous day on the slopes! Today's style theme is all about layers. When on the slopes you have to be cautious about temperature control. Obviously I got too HOT, so I had to shed all my upper layers except my paisley blue bandana, which I matched with a basic red Ocean Pacific swim trunk (great substitute for ski pants). If you don't have pockets, don't fret; I always have my FAVE accessory, a fanny pack, ready to go!!
