Behind The Scenes Photo Of MGM Intro
A photo of a lion strapped onto a machine in order to make the iconic MGM intro of a lion roaring is actually a photo of a lion being diagnosed at the vet's office. Luckily, the lion made a wonderful recovery and is now completely healthy. Also, an interesting fact is that there have been 7 lions that were used to create the MGM intro, the current one, who's name is Leo, has appeared in most of the movies since 1957.
"Why am I here?" "You're going to have a CAT scan." "Don't try to be funny, or I'll eat your face."
The lion was on a little stool with his trainer, i thought everyone knew that bout the MGM lions.
I'm pretty sure most people didn't fall for the image in this post, if anyone did at all.
Load More Replies...Also: the roaring part has been outsourced to a tiger, because a lion's roar is not *quite* as majestic.
Yeah. I feel like a bunch of people think lions sound wrong because of things like this and The Lion King using tiger roars because lion roars are deep and guttural. The same thing happens a lot with bald eagles being dubbed over by red-tailed hawks.
Load More Replies...People thought that the MGM logo screen was some transparent thing and a lion would be even able to roar and move it's head effectively in this position? Did anyone ACTUALLY fall for this?
this photo shows a lion strapped in a machine. tThis picture is so interesting because how can they capture the lion. in my opinion the photo was manipulated for laughs. the original photo was a tiger getting scan. and now it affects believes in the movie opening the lion thingy
The Mustache Wasn't Enough, They Had To Add Those Angry Eyebrows
The internet just loves animals, especially if they look weird or cute, or both at the same time. So there is no surprise that a photo of a cat with adorable mustache and eyebrows would go viral. Well, there is a silver lining to this story, the cat does in fact have that incredible mustache, but the eyebrows are a result of clever photo manipulation.
That cat is called Basil. I don't care if I'm proven wrong, it looks like a Basil, so it's now to be called Basil.
Even better, his actual name is Hamilton the Hipster Cat. Although Basil is an awesome name as well.
Load More Replies...I had a cat with a mustache we named him Mustache'o! He loved to eat left over baby food out of the jar.
A Guy Creating An Amazing Fried Rice Wave
One of the recent viral sensations was the 'fried rice meme' that showed a man making an incredible rice wave in his pan. This interesting photo quickly received a lot of attention online and people from all around the world started to send in their own photoshopped images of the rice wave. Unfortunately, the original itself is already a fake photo since the rice wave is a sculpture that is sold in a fake food shop in Tokyo.
"What kind of art are kids into these days?" "I was thinking about making a sculpture of a large wave of rice." "Great idea! Get on it as soon as possible! We are Japanese, and this is typical behaviour for us!"
Actually in Japan, they make these sculptures for restaurants to display outside to show what the food actually looks like, etc
Load More Replies...I love the Japanese youtubers who made this. They're called Mizutamari Bond, and this picture was a prank one pulled on the other.
A fake photo based on a fake rice from a fake food shop is being faked by fake people using a fake photoshop installed in a fake Windows.
Honestly though the first time I saw this pic I thought to myself that there was just no way that was real, that amount of rice wouldn’t fit in the pan shown. But then as I saw it more I decided it had to be real, amazing, unlikely but real. Now I realize it was as a fake after all!
I knew it was fake. I just didn't have the evidence. Haha. I mean, that viral photo didn't look real to me at all.
I never thought it was real because he literally just has the pan slightly tilted and I have no idea how you would be able to get force behind a pose like that.
At first, I thought he has a stunning ability to create that rice wave. Gaining a lot of attention, people have been searching for it online. Turns out it was just a rice wave sculpture sold in Tokyo. The clean editing has amazed lots of people online.
Astronaut Smoking Marijuana In Space
It's safe to say that Chris Hadfield is one of the most beloved Astronauts there is. His incredible vlogs from space answered so many questions about life in zero gravity, from cleaning your teeth to sleeping, everything is different in space. Although this form of vlogging is very one-of-a-kind, you shouldn't think that this incredible guy would use any type of drugs while literally flying in space. In the real photo, Chris was actually just trying to surprise his co-workers with some Easter eggs!
"We're gonna get high as f**k tonight!" "Chris, we're in orbit around the Earth. We literally can't get any higher without floating into space."
I don't know who downvoted you, that is quality humor
Load More Replies...No astronaut is dumb enough to do this. Not to mention you literally can't do this on ISS... They don't light fires up there! :D
Yes!!!! Not one Astronaut wants to jeopardize their STELLER CAREER for that s**t!!!!!!! Period. They don’t just let anyone up in space (unless you have $150,000 or more to throw away).
Load More Replies...A year ago, on Heritage Day, Chris Hadfield came to my husband's company to talk Rocket Science, and we were all invited to listen. It was way cool. Heh, the little dude walking in front of Mr. Hadfield is my son, who wasn't starstruck at all. IMG_4476-5...fac0fb.jpg
The photo shows Chris Hadfield is Holding marijuana in the space. The photo is very interesting because why would an astronaut using any type of d***s in space meanwhile he is already in the space, he cannot get any higher 😂😂, in my opinion the photo was manipulated by someone for a meme. the editor changed the real stuff, Easter eggs, with a marijuana. luckily it didn’t effect anything on chris career
People suck. Imagine trying to make this great man look like a druggie. Idiots.
There is no vacuum inside the ISS. Fire is still not great, though.
Load More Replies...This photo is very funny, like imagine an astronaut actually having a bag of marijuana in space he's high while being high. The fact that people even thought of editing this interests me. It looks like they changed the harmless Easter eggs in the bag to marijuana, they probably thought it was funny and unusual and it actually is! Now people who think this is real will start to think that astronauts actually so d***s in space
Magical Castle
This magical castle that probably most of us would love to visit or even stay in is unfortunately a combination of a photo of a rock in Thailand and a castle in Germany.
Those mountain things (IDK) are so cool! I'd love to visit them one day.
They are left over from the erosion process. A cliff that is jutting out gets eroded at the bottom and creates an arch which eventually collapses to leave the rock behind. Pretty cool.
Load More Replies...A photo shows that there is a stone and it is covered with a kingdom, but in the photo it looks very real, but from the photo it is clear that it is only an edit consisting of 2 photos, namely a photo of the kingdom from Germany and a photo of the stone from Thailand, but it looks really amazing with a very neat structure and makes people believe in it for years.
Been to that Island!... James Bond Island in Thailand! Pretty awesome and beautiful surroundings
Not-So-Planned College Name Sign
Some time ago this famous image was an absolute representation of internet humor, the ironic mistake was something that people constantly shared online. Unfortunately, the photo was photoshopped so well, it wasn't so easy to understand it was actually fake.
But does anyone else notice the figure inside the glass wall in the actual picture?
I can say with absolute certainty that the top image is the correct image. This WAS at Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning (my alma mater), above the loading dock on the north side of the building. The original part of the building is on the right and the "new addition" (circa 1980s) is on the right. The story is that longtime professor, then dean, did it for humor. A 2-story addition was built around 2010 to house a CNC mill, and the lettering was removed/covered. I parked my bike below that sign for a couple years.
The "real" one is fake in this case. I'm pretty sure the fake one is actually fake, but someone "fixed" it using photoshop. The C doesn't align right, and the wall is blurred where it used to be. Plus, Waldo.
yes! The fake is real! Proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=85&v=ZshMwU2-HCM
Load More Replies...I'll be honest, to me the bottom photo looks like fake. Look at the "C" in "ARCHITECTURE". Also, the rest of the letter have some digital noise around them.
People have been fooled once again. The bottom photo IS the fake photo and all your observations are correct lol.
Load More Replies...Actually, the "correct" version is the Photoshop - the building was built in 1965 and expended in 1982 and what used to be the rear entrance ended up inside on what was now the loading dock - as part of the expansion, a new wall was built that ended up obscuring the C and when the contractor asked wherever they should respace the letters, the Dean said "No, just stick it on the wall because it will look funny." https://www.arch2o.com/story-behind-college-architecture-planning-sign/ Incidentally, here is what the rear entrance looks now: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.2048309,-
Too bad, I like the top one. I thought it was a cunning plan and deliberate joke
Dangerous Pilot Selfie
This iconic selfie of a pilot photographing himself in the air was actually a photo of him when he was safely landed, but it's important to mention, that even on the land, it's a pretty cool selfie!
If you fell for this one, you deserve to be sucked out of a plane cockpit, and into a jet engine.
From an upload of the photo, it shows a man posting that he is taking a selfie above By using a tripod the photo is absolutely impossible because it could endanger, so isn't it very clear from the photo that it is very unreasonable?
The photo shows a pilot leaning out of the cockpit window of a blue commercial airplane, taking a selfie with a selfie stick. The original image captures this moment while the plane is stationary on the ground, but it was manipulated to place the plane high above the clouds, giving the illusion that the pilot is taking a selfie mid-flight. This alteration was done to create a dramatic and attention-grabbing effect, making the photo appear much more dangerous and exciting than it actually is. The resulting image plays on the thrill of risk, increasing its appeal and shareability despite being a fabricated scenario.
the pilot taking a picture when flying an a plane, it is a bit crazy if the pliot real taking a picture when flaying an plane. To make a viral or people seeing this picture ,They erased the landing area and and airplane wheel on the left wing plane and add a cloud background. And the result is cool but not realistict, and the real one is better and so cool
this photo shows the pilot doing a selfie 30k feet above ground. it is interesting since it is really dangerous and impossible to take photo at that altitude. the photo has been altered since the pilot isnt actually flying the plane yet rather hes still in the runway. it was altered as a it is for comedic purposes. its just for jokes and humor
The photo show the pilot is take a selfie while he is fly the plane Because as you can see on the left side the pilot is take a selfie in the air and on the left side the pilot is take a selfie on the ground I think the editor is use photoshop for replace the background and a little bit brightness maybe the editor edit this photo just for fun or make a joke when people see this photo maybe they feel funny and laughing
There is a pilot who is taking a selfie of himself in the air. the photo is very popular back in the day because it is very cool and rare moment of pilot taking a selfie while he was in the air. The photo was edited by changing the background from the runaway into a bunch of cloud. In my opinion the editor photoshopped this photo to attracted viewers and entertainment. the effect is many people likes the photo and perhaps the pilot become a popular person.
A Kid Sleeping Near His Deceased Parents' Graves In Syria
A photo of a kid sleeping near his deceased parents' grave in Syria turned out to a piece of staged photography since the kid knew the photographer and the graves did not belong to his parents. Although this type of photojournalism is still completely heartbreaking it proves once again you can't trust everything you see online.
journalism was once a respectable profession… so many use it to push their agenda and they point of view instead of bring the news
Journalism never changed that much, we like to think back and remember the good parts of the past, ignoring the bad ones. Read about the news coverage of the sinking of the Titanic, heck even 200 and 300 years ago many newspapers did report whatever just to have a better story than the competition and because there was no internet back then it was very hard for people to figure out. Also news were always political this hasn't changed much in the past 200 years, just the way some of us see it has changed.
Load More Replies...No, this is very cruel to stage. As someone who was born into war, I find this unacceptable. Even if the intention was good. You cannot manipulate people's emotions like that and about a problem as serious as this. In the end, the seriousness of the problem loses its credibility, meanwhile, behind the camera children die for real and you know the reason you took no photos was because you were scared for your life as well. Which is nothing bad, it's natural to be scared for your life. But then don't do... this.
some photographers use this type of staged scenes or photoshop but this photojournalist is a charlatan. You are not allowed to do this kind of b******t in documentary photography.
I didn't know this was fake. Sh*t like this is really not helping humanitarian causes. But maybe that was the original goal to begin with.
A young kid 'sleeping' with his "deceased parents" in the middle of the beach. What makes this interesting is that how come a lil kid sleeping with her own parents that is dead? I'm pretty sure no one will do something like that. The difference between the fake one and the real one is that I think the fake one, they used another picture of a lil kid in different angles but the brightness, saturated effect is edited. While the real one looks almost exact same but in a normal effect.
Frozen Venice
Venice is definitely one of the most beautiful places to visit around the world so there is no need to photoshop a photo of frozen Lake Baikal in Russia to make the place look even more stunning.
you've clearly never seen the color of the lagoon water in venice lol
Hahaha water in Venice is so polluted it will never freeze but if you still want to ice skate you can just go on the Calatrava bridge on a cold humid winter day.
This photo on venice is actually amazing because of the edit, Many people got trick with it.so, it's a great photoshop Actually , props to the one who made it
The photo on the right shows the Italian city of Venice. What is interesting about the photo is that the river is frozen. It turns out that the frozen river is edited from Lake Baikal in Russia. As you can see on the right, the river is not frozen. It was probably altered to make the city look even more stunning. This edit looks so real it had made some people shock.
This picture shows a stunning view of the city of Venice frozen during the winter. although it's edited i have to give props to that photoshop job because the person made it look legitimate. The person maybe edited this to indicate how Venice would look if it experienced a severe winter season. the effect of this pictured caused a lot of people, including me, to believe that it's real.
Perfect Lenticular Clouds
Lenticular clouds are already pretty cool as they are, and there is no need for excessive photoshop to make them look better. Unfortunately, the author of the photoshopped version didn't really think that way. Well, we guess the whole internet didn't think that way, since the fake photo became a desktop of choice for many people.
Funny thing is, I have seen lenticular clouds stacked up like that over the Cascades. Just not on such a large scale, and not so perfectly. Think mini pancakes instead of pyramid.
That mountain only wanted to enhance its memory skills with pyramid power.
Does anyone else notice that the photoshopped one is mirrored to the real one?
I meant this looks like a giant white Christmas tree at the tip top of the mountain, but it is actually a natural phenomenon in the Everest or whatever mountain it is that's called lenticular cloud and again the editor have deceived us with some photoshop magics by adding more clouds to make it look way more attractive for people and maybe the impact of this photo for peoples is maybe make them to travel around the world and maybe they could find something magical like this
Oh my goodness me, slap my butt and oil me up, this thing is just as if not more majestic than my king lebonbon james, this crazy photo of a mountain having incredible and beautiful cloud layers stacked upon each other that looks like an old chinese kings castle is so tough, its so cool as you have probably never seen anything like this, they just pasted the original photos cloud over and over, i think it was made to overexaggerate the beautiful lenticular clouds, the final product is absolutely stunning.
The article is great but the images and subjects themselves p### me off. There was a time that media and journalists were practiced by professionals who understood the ethics and integrity when communicating with your audience but now anyone and everyone refers to themselves as a "journalist" but does not have any formal training in the field.. As a result the public is unable to decipher fact from fiction because there is no laws or parameters in place to reign this c**p in. At the very least a cutline of "photo illustration" should be required. I am hoping none of these photos were printed by reputable sources. People are not allowed to practice medicine, nursing or therapy without a license or degree yet anyone can refer to themselves as a "journalist".
Woman Squatting Like A Frog
One of the most recent viral sensations was a woman weirdly squatting on a tiny shelf. Turns out she only lifted one leg, which, to be honest, is still kinda weird.
Putting her feet on the counter used by disabled people in wheelchairs.
Load More Replies...Weird is not the word I would go for. More likfe disgusting and disrespectful of the people who will come afterward and don't want to put their hands were her dirty foot was.
Hands are actually dirtier than your feet. People don't wipe their behinds with their feet, then not wash them and then touch everything else you also touch.
Load More Replies...And people put there hands there. Gross. Seriously, I'm going to turn into Howard Hughes (without the money) It's just a matter of time spent online.
People wipe their butts with their hands, not their feet, and they also don't wash those hands and touch everything. The fact that people don't even consider that is strange...lol!
Load More Replies...When they photoshopped the shoes off the floor, they forgot to put the grout lines back in. Bad mistake
Unique Black Lion
If we could make a list of the internet's most beloved topics, weird animals would definitely have their place in the top 10. It seems that finding weird and unique species is something everyone thrives in, and although it is a cool thing to come across a unique animal, there is no need to create one with photoshop, or if you're doing so, please do not try to trick people into thinking it actually exists.
Now we need to photoshop four other lions. Then...organic Voltron.
This photo shows a lion in a black and white, Many people got trick because of the black lion. many people surfed to the internet and find it was been photoshop. Great job for the guy who photoshop this.
Ziandy - This is truly the photo of all time. It shows a completely black lion, which is interesting because we've literally never seen a black lion before, it's only an edited photo of an albino lion. The reason behind this alteration is most likely because the editor wants to challenge the idea that melanism on lions exists. If black jaguars, cemani chickens, and other melanistic animals exists, why not lions? It really makea you wonder the biology behind this phenomenon.
The photo shows a black lion and a white lion side by side. The photo shows a unique color of a dark skin lion. The photo has been edited to a dark skin lion even though it is a light skin. The purpose it was edited is because to attract viewers and the effect is viewers were actually gained because seeing a lion with dark skin is unique.
The picture shows a BLACK LION! but in reality it's white, it's interesting to me because I've never seen a BLACK LION! it obviously don't exist but it would be cool to see one in real life, it reminds me of Scar from Lion king, the editor just changed the color of the lion, they made the photo to scam people saying that they found a rare animal, so in the in people believe it was true
this pic of a lion completely blacked out is super cool bcs the lion looks badass, unfortunately its actually fake, the photo shows that the lion color is completely different than how its supposed to be. It’s definitely to shock people bcs if that was real it would’ve been so cool and majestic
The photo shows two lions resting. The right one is a real white lion, while the left one has been edited to look black. Originally, the white lion looks rare and majestic. After editing, the black lion adds a sense of mystery. The photo was changed to make it more dramatic and eye-catching.
Moon Perfectly Fitting On A Skyscraper
There's is a weird obsession with moons in viral photos, it seems that if you really want to have a popular photo, just add a moon in the most unrealistic place and there you have it. That's exactly what happened with this photo taken by Mo Aoun.
It has better asymmetrical balance. In the photoshopped one they're just smushed together.
Load More Replies...But it's possible to capture that at the right place and at the right elevation though
a. The photo shows the moon placed perfectly on top of a building. b. It looks amazing and grabs attention because it’s so precise. c. The moon was edited into the photo. d. It was done to make the picture go viral. e. People thought it was real, but it’s fake and unrealistic.
The photo shows a skyscraper with the moon perfectly placed on top of it. The real the moon was edited. This photo is interesting because it looks unreal. It was manipulated by moving the moon to fit the building, making the image more interesting. The effect made the scene look special and attracted more attention.
With a lot of planning and maybe some luck you could indeed have the moon fit in such an "unrealistic" place.
That shot would be possible with proper positioning. A little higher and move to the right.
#10yearschallenge Against Deforestation
Recently the hashtag #10yearchallenge went viral with people from all around the world sharing their changes throughout the years. Some people decided to use the hashtag to warn people about the terrible impact we are having on this earth. One of the biggest environmental problems in 21st century is deforestation, and that's exactly what people tried to warn us about. Unfortunately, the image that was used to spread the message was fake - the before and after photos of a rainforest cut down completely was actually the same photo.
The photo may be fake, but the problem is real. Just like the Kardashians.
Yes. It was probably only a matter of days before the land on the left looked like the land on the right anyway.
Load More Replies...the message is still correct. deforestation is epidemic even though some countries like India are replanting whole forests/millions of trees.
I don't see how this doesn't get the same message across.
It might not be with a 10-year difference but it still shows how a rainforest looks before and after cutting down the trees
It's even more sad to see how dense and lush the forest is right up to the deforestation line then nothing but dirt
Bear Chasing A Cycler
Even though a photo of a bear chasing a cyclist will have a far bigger effect on you than a photo of a bear running through an empty street, luckily, nobody was harmed in the making of this photo. Although there's not much information about the original photo, it is believed the photo was taken Yellowstone National Park.
But if the cyclist was going downhill at a pretty fast rate there's no way the bear could catch him.
Load More Replies...Your national park roads are still better than our city highways. I'm from Kenya
The photo shows a cyclist being chased by a bear. The photo shows interest because viewers would be interested in the fate of the cyclist. The photo has been manipulated by adding a cyclist running away from a bear. The purpose it was altered it to gain viewers because the intense feeling of watching a bear chasing a cyclist will make viewers scratch their heads in interest. The effect of the changes were people were fooled by this photo.
The photo show a bear chasing a cyclist and a bear running alone it interesting because if you can imagine be a cyclist how that fell when you get chase by a bear its really frightening they edit this photo by added a cyclist and maybe they smaller the bear and the editor edit this photo to fool people that see this photo or to make a hoax news about this photo it may effect people believe this photo
The left photo looks like a bear is chasing a cycler. But actually this is just an edit and the right one was the original photo that shows a bear running alone on the road. Thankfully the bear doesn’t chase the photographer.
A Photo Of Marilyn Monroe And Elizabeth Taylor
Oh how cool would it be to have two beauty icons chilling in one photo. Unfortunately, Elizabeth Taylor was photoshopped into a picture of Marilyn Monroe. In fact, this is not the first time Marilyn Monroe's photos were photoshopped to seem that she is spending time with iconic celebrities such as Elvis Presley, James Dean, and even John F. Kennedy.
It's actually kind of easy to notice the Photoshop, if you know where to look
Load More Replies...Okay, apparently I'm the weird one in thinking it looks fake as f**k.
You're not, I'm actually surprised people think it's real
Load More Replies...The photo shows 2 icons marilyn monroe and Elizabeth taylor, they were just taking photoshoot, but the interesting part is this photo is edited. The photo has been manipulated by adding elizabeth taylor to the marilyn monroe photo shoot, i think the pusrpose of the editor is just only to make an interesting moment between this icons. Atharu Syahazka
the photo shows marilyn monroe and elizabeth taylor. the photo shows 2 celebrity that was famous at the time. the photo was photoshoped to put marilyn monroe and elizabeth taylor into one photo, it was photoshoped to create gossip and attention. it makes people think they were closer then they axtually are
Both were so incredibly stunning. I love looking at images of older actresses today like these two along with Martha Stewart, Diane Keaton, Betty White, Diane lane, Helen Mirren, Goldie Hawn and the many other actresses that are over the age of 65. A time before photoshop and filters makes me realize how truly breathtaking they really were. These days photoshop has created an unrealistic beauty standard. Obviously I feel strongly about manipulated images.
First Dab In The History
Although all of us would hope that the first dab was captured back in the 20th century, meaning this iconic movement will never age, unfortunately, this photo is actually a behind-the-scenes photo from the movie Dunkirk, shot in 2017.
The dab is in top 5 of absolutely r******d idiotic things the human race has invented
That would have been hilarious. But honestly, to me the dab always just looked like someone sneezing.... :p
Never seen a kid sneeze and dab and they sneeze into their arm? Visit my school.
Load More Replies...Photo Of The Space Shuttle
A magnificent photo of a space shuttle once again fooled many people and it quickly became a popular image to share online. What bothered many people is the need to even photoshop the image since the original one is already really cool as it is.
How can anyone fall for that? For starters, it's not breaking the clouds, and second, anything in the shuttle's airspace would cause the launch to be abandoned, even if it was as small as a drone.
I for one believed it was real. As I have no knowledge of cloud physics and assumed it was probably done with a telephoto lens by an aircraft explicitly there for the purpose of the launch, it seemed reasonable.
Load More Replies...First of all... that shuttle wouldn't even reach the clouds, 'cos, you know, flat earth and no one ever been out to space, kinda answer.
So what makes the first photo fake? Fog can definitely be this thick. Shadows on both photos have nothing in common. Have a look at one of my photos (definitely not fake): https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151133654652761&set=a.10150313667917761&type=3&theater
Стыдись! Такие облака на высоте 150-200 метров над равниной, не в горах?
Load More Replies...The shuttles aren't the same, they have some small different details.
Maybe that was part of the photoshop, to hide the trail back to the original.
Load More Replies...Picture Of A Dwarf Giraffe
A photo of a giraffe with dwarfism has been used online multiple times, although giraffes, like other animals, can have dwarfism, this photo is actually fake.
We wanted it to be real so bad! Like Santa Clause.
Load More Replies...a. The photo shows two giraffes—one altered to look like it has dwarfism. b. It’s interesting because dwarfism in giraffes is rare and unusual. c. The image was digitally edited to shorten the giraffe’s legs. d. It was altered to attract attention and go viral. e. The effect was misleading viewers and spreading false information.
ME! I wanted to rescue that cute, fat, short giraffe as a pet for my 2 cats! rotf

A photo showing a bear chasing a group of National Geographic photographers would send shivers down anyone's spine. Just imagining being in such a dangerous situation is terrifying. But since we have already proved there's no point in believing everything you see online, you can stop feeling bad about these photographer,s since the bear in the photo is actually captured in a stock photo that can be easily found online.
The guy on the left gives it away with his smile. They were in Colorado for a film that was never produced and thought it would be funny to send a prank photo to their friends and families. Full story here: https://gizmodo.com/behind-the-scenes-of-behind-the-scenes-at-national-geo-1679697812
I actually saw a documentary, years ago, where they showed a polar bear running in the documentary. But one of the DVD extras showed the polar bear actually ran all the way up to the crew. They showed that there was more than one camera. The bear is shown running up to the other cameraman, who falls over backwards. The bear is sniffing at him, and the rest of the crew is slipping and sliding, trying to get away. Bear left without any violence, it was just curious about them.
If they were National Geographic photographers, I highly doubt that they would GET that close to a bear anyway! (I'm saying they'd know their limits, not like... they're a bunch of cowards.)
It’s pretty obvious I mean aside from what Withnail said, look at the bear it’s so unnatural!
This looks like a bear chasing photographers, but it’s a fake image. The bear was added later. The interest is this image shows some adrenaline rush. But this is just added bear on this image, so the photographer is not in danger
It looks like a bear is chasing National Geographic photographers. It’s dramatic and scary, but fake the bear was added digitally. The photo was altered as a joke or to shock people. It tricks viewers into believing it’s real.
Ziand - This photo. It shows a group of NatGeo photographers being chased by a wild bear, but obviously that isn't the case. This photo is interesting because this could 100% be a real case. Even though the bear is edited in, that doesn't mean that the chances of photographers getting attacked by wild animals are low. Maybe the editor was trying to make us aware of that. It really makes you consider being a wildlife photographer, and wonder how many people have died doing the job.
Giant Skeleton Found
The internet is filled with photoshopped images of archaeologists finding huge skeletons that might belong to giants. If this was the reality, a new chapter in history would be open and we could consider some myths to be true. Unfortunately, no science or history museum has ever accepted these findings for one simple reason: the photos that show these skeletons are completely fake.
I'm honestly impressed by the photo shop on these though. They look really realistic.
There was a contest website worth1000 (currently designcrowd dot com) which had a huge section of photoshop contests. This didn't mean all the photoshop entries were photorealistic ,there's many bad PS examples to be found there too, but ''say 9 out of 10' clearly had a bit of effort behind them' - or however to word that.. anyway. One contest that had a few cycles was "Archaeological Anomalies" and a recurring theme in entries there was the giant skeletons unearthed for example designcrowd dot com slash community/contest.aspx?id=1676758
Load More Replies...The giant skeletons do exist. Maybe this is a fake image but that does not mean the skeletons are also fake. Our leaders don't want us to know the truth
Ok, I got it... This post is made to undermine the real giants discover...So, people will se this article and think, ok, all this discover are fake, made with photoshop and will stop make questions....That's the way this f*****g system works...
A)the image on the right shows a man founding a lower jaw of a reptile that was buried in the sand & the image on the left shows a giant skull instead of a jaw. B)it’s interest cuz of there is a skull of a giant skeleton. C)the picture is changed from having a reptiles lower jaw to a giants skull. D)the reason of this post is most likely to gain attention & popularity from the internet. E)this picture is fake, misleading people for believing in the fake discovery.
The edited photo [on the left] of a man who found what appears to be a giant human skeleton looks very bizzare and realistic. The photo really attracts a lot of conspiracy theorist to think that giants truly exist bc of the discovery of this really large skull bone,However the reality is that it was actually a bone from maybe a large animal.Im assuming the editor wants the attention from people to make it viral so that people will have arguments or whether or not this i real or fake.
As you can see on the picture that is shown both of the images is talking about the thing that they have found, but if you see there ara a diffrent between them because one of them it was been edited ( on the left ) i guess why they edited its to make people think about giants etc, and maybe people will do another investigate to find it wheter its true or no because their just interest of it.
Last night I was thinking about if anyone would ever find golioth’s skull and how big it would be
An Island That Looks Like A Star
Photos like this will definitely in spark you a great desire to travel. Imagine yourself sipping on a delicious cocktail while chilling on an island in the middle of the ocean that is a shape of a star. Well, unfortunately, such an island doesn't exist, but what you can do is visit the moon-shaped island Molokini, located between the islands of Maui and Kahoolawein Hawaii.
They're all over the place, Atolls as they are called are developed from eroded coral reefs or, more commonly, long dead volcanic chutes.
Load More Replies...a. The photo shows a fictional island shaped like a star and crescent moon. b. It’s interesting because of its unusual and beautiful shape, which sparks curiosity and wanderlust. c. The image has been digitally altered—an extra star-shaped landmass was added to the real crescent-shaped island (Molokini). d. It was changed to create a more eye-catching and fantastical travel destination. e. The effect was to mislead viewers and promote a non-existent location, generating false excitement.
The photo shows an island which has a unique crescent shape with a perfectly shaped star within the crescent. This photo is interesting because not many people has observed these kinds of specific shapes of an island. I'm pretty sure the star island was edited and was inserted into the original crescent shaped. Personally, i think the photo was edited to encourage travelers to travel to this imaginary island. I think this affects the viewers to further research this island boosting it's popularity and relevancy in the internet.
What the fucc xd. This was the main menu wallpaper of GTA Turk(which was a mod of GTA Vice City including car packs, Turkish subtitle, Turkish teams' uniforms etc.). I'm now seeing this and almost going to cry. It reminded me the times i played that game for hours, not giving a s**t about the world, being happy. 630178fgh.jpg
here is the menu.
Cow Chilling On A Car
The internet is full of photoshopped pictures that just don't make any sense and somehow we still manage to believe them. One of those fake viral photos was a picture of a cow chilling on a BMW. Well turns out, no car was damaged in the making of this photo since the cow was chilling on the grass like it was supposed to.
She would slide down, the hood would be dented, the wheels... a cow is pretty heavy and it's obvious if you think about it and analyze it, but I understand believing it if you only saw it fleetingly, for a moment and just skipped it without thinking too much about it (or if you don't have any experience with cows or how much they weigh). I wonder how she would even climb on it with her hooves without almost immediately sliding down (also, there's no snow, only dry dirt, under her hooves)
Load More Replies...Thats easy to spot: a full grown cow would mean that you are something like half a ton. I am not joking: a normal cow weighs in around 500-600 kg (And since there are a 1000 kg to a ton...). An animal like that on the hood would press down the front of the car to an extreme, not to mention the front would be smashed to smitherins.
A horse once jumped onto my uncle's little-bitty car (the road was in the side of a slope) and totaled the whole thing. Horse was fine and my uncle was fine.
I thought it was obvious it was a joke 🙈 Maybe because I've grown up on the country side and met some cows? They're pretty big and not very athletic 😅
Also I saw it with a joke-y caption, which added to my belief it was obvious to people it was photoshopped.
Load More Replies...That would be an interesting insurance claim. "I'm sorry sir, did you say a cow slept on your BMW? Step away from the bong, sir!"
This photo shows a cow lying on the front of a BMW car, which is strange and funny because cows are usually seen in fields, not on cars. The picture was probably edited by taking the cow from the grass and putting it on the car using a Photoshop or something. It was likely changed to make people laugh or to make it viral so that people could share it online. The result is a surprising and unexpected image tbh.
The photo is showing about a cow that rest on top the car trunk, the photo is focusing about how odd that a cow rest on top of a car trunk, the photo seems have to be manipulated by someone, the purpose of editing the video is for comedic purpose, the effect of the change is people may believe that the edited photo is real
Photo Of India
A magical photo of India during the Hindu festival is actually a composite of satellite images shaded different colors.
Well Diwali is the Festival of Lights. I think. Don't yell at me if I'm wrong.
A.a satellite image of India during the Hindu festival. B.its interest cuz of the colorful lights shown in the left image. C.the image on the left has been altered to a much brighter & colorful scale. D.the purpose of this alteration is most likely to gain attention & attract people. E.some people may think the picture is real, however it’s not as the real one is much more pale & dimmer in comparison.
The photo shows a satelite image of india during a festival itis of interest due to the colorful lights that are visible in space. The reality is that ths image is only blavk and white, and it has been edited to be more vibrant by increasing the saturation to apear that the festival is so lively that it is visible in space, and as a result now people are too sure that the festival is the best in the world.
Einstein Riding A Bicycle As A-Bomb Explodes
This photo of an explosion was actually taken 7 years after Einstein's death, so even if cool guys don't look at explosions, this was definitely not the case.
Nero was not in Rome when it caught fire. But he got there as quick as he could so he could address the crisis. Nero was framed.
Load More Replies...Albert Einstein is seen to be riding a bike, moving away from an explosion that was thought to be from the bomb that he invented. This picture was found to be intriguing as Einstein was recorded to be regretting his invention of the bomb, so why would he smile as if he had enjoyed inventing a bomb? Anyway, the original photo of him riding a bike seems to be taken in a city instead of a beach, and was cropped out and put on top of another image of crowd on a beach, watching a bomb explosion. The image was most likely edited to make people believe that Einstein did not regret inventing a bomb.
The cutline by the "journalist" speaks volumes that anyone can call themselves a "journalist" and how false information is shared and supported by outlets with large audiences. IDK what is more shocking really, a three year post garnering quite a few comments and nobody realizing the Einstien died 10 years after the a bomb or fact checking did not occur during the editing process that this false information got past more than one "professionals"? Not that anyone should consider Bored Panda a media outlet but at the very least don't contribute to incorrect information plaguing society. The only event that happened 7 years before the A bomb was Einstein's letter to President Roosevelt warning of the threat the A bomb had to the world. Einstein has significant accomplishments after the A bomb but of course nobody knows that, since BP reports him as being dead in the late 1930's.
Just look at the hair, it's a super straight cut on top! Einstein hair is super crazy, as you can see in the real picture
Paris Hilton's Offensive T-Shirt
The famous celebrity Paris Hilton is mostly known for spending a huge amount of money on things none of us could possibly afford. Even though this person doesn't have any problem with publicly showing her inherited money, she's definitely not that ignorant to wear a t-shirt that calls other people poor. She just calls them... desperate. Well, it's better than poor. Right?
Ok but am I the only one annoyed at how low her skirt is? Like I just feel like that would be uncomfortable and I keep getting the urge to pull up my own pants XD
It should be pulled up over her head so none of us have to look at her.
Load More Replies...When you grow up so rich, the wonder and fulfillment of earning something, is lost. Life isn’t a true life, when all you have, was and is, given to you.
This photo shows paris Hilton wearing a white T that says "stop being poor". This photo interested the people because the well known celebrity is showing bad publicity, originally the shirt says "stop being desperate" but the person edited to "poor" instead of "desperate" this editor was probably trying to attract hate to the celebrity trying to ruin her reputation. Ofcourse it worked for a little and the people was hurt and angry
This photo shows the famous celebrity Paris Hilton wearing a shirt that might offend a few individuals. This photo is interesting because a celebrity as famous as her should not draw bad publicity for herself especially mentioning poverty. It was edited by erasing the original text and re-wrote into "STOP BEING POOR". The purpose of this might be to hurt her reputation and ruin her career. This affects the way people see her as a celebrity, not in a good way.
Wait! Does she think desperate and poor are the same thing? Isn't she saying the same either way?
Turtle Mountain
This would be an amazing mountain to visit, but if it actually existed, there is a great chance you would know more about it and more people would visit it. Also, there would be a far greater amount of photos from this location. So, when somebody went to that location and actually captured the mountain, it was no surprise that the "Turtle Mountain" is actually just the simple, yet beautiful ""Pilot Mountain" in North Carolina.
The most heartbreaking scene of all my childhood movies.
Load More Replies...a. The photo shows a mountain made to look like a turtle’s face. b. It’s interesting because it looks like a real animal. c. The photo was edited to add eyes and a mouth. d. It was changed to get attention online. e. People believed it was real, but it’s fake and misleading.
There really was a Turtle Mtn. I have been to Frank and it is a terrible story. http://www3.sympatico.ca/goweezer/canada/frank.htm A story worth reading. Greatest landslide in North American history.
Romney Family Misspelling Their Last Name
There is always a lot of controversy and fake news during the elections, especially in a country as big as the USA. So, there is no surprise that back when Mitt Romney was running for president, people were trying their best to ruin his campaign. One piece of fake news that surfed the media was a fake photo of Romney's spelling the word 'Money' instead of his last name 'Romney'.
Unless it's Trump's kids, or some other Republican's kids. Liberal a******s in the media!
Unless it's Trump's kids, or some other Republicans kids right? Liberal a******s!
Viral Photo Of A Pooping Cheerleader
You can ruin somone's life with that sort of thing. I actually saw and believed it and felt deeply sorry for the girl. Imagine this really happening and the whole world laughing about it. And, now, she has to run around explaining that this did NOT happen.
I saw her on some show. Her mom and sister came on with her and said she got bullied at school for it and became really depressed and basically stopped living her life. So messed up
Load More Replies...TERRIBLE, WHY POST THIS? I HOPE THE PERSON THAT DID THIS HAS LOTS OF NIGHTMERES.
I would like to know why the girls in the bottom right are making those faces... I hope they caught her!
Looks like she's slipping with her right foot..
Load More Replies...This is obviously fake. Cheerleaders can't be naked under their uniform, since their skirt will most likely be thrown upward as their doing their dances.
This one is obviously fake. Cheerleaders wear tight underwear underneath their skirts. The poop would squish out the side and slide down her leg, not shoot out the back. There's a mental image for you.
If she DID do this, the poo wouldn't have fallen OUT, unless she wasn't wearing underwear
A Photo Of A Tourist Taken Moments Before 9/11
The horrible 9/11 story still remains a mystery for the most part, various conspiracy theories surf the Internet without anyone giving the real answers. So, there's no doubt that when a photo taken just a moment before the tragedy happened was posted online, people quickly started sharing it. Well, luckily the man in the photo did not witness the tragedy take place. That's probably the only good thing there is to say about this awful event.
This picture was featured on Snopes: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/tourist-wtc-911/ People had a field day lampooning it, substituting everything from Snoopy on his flying doghouse to the USS Enterprise (as in Star Trek) for the plane.
My immediate thought... if the photo was truly taken when a plane flew in, how did the photo still exist?
Load More Replies...If that is the North Tower, that really pisses me off as we lost a good friend on the 93rd floor where it was a direct hit.
The conspiracies don’t “surf” the internet lol. They are on the Internet. People surf the Internet.
Wouldn't the photographer notice the plane WAY that moment if this was real?
Yeah, that and even deaf you would know such a plane is that close. So the tourist wouldn't just look in front of him like nothing happens.
Load More Replies...I know for sure this is a fake, the One World Observatory wasn't open at the time the first plane hit. there is a september 10 ticket in the memorial museum that is the last ticket ever used.
https://www.911memorial.org/connect/blog/ticket-tells-story-last-visitors-original-wtc-observatory was closed due to the stormy weather. Observatio...45cbd4.jpg
What conspiracy theory? Seriously my boyfriends kids brought that up and it kind of pisses me off. What happened? Some crazies flew a plane into buildings to attack our nation. I was in highschool when it happened in a big city and they weren't sure if there were more planes or bombs they evacuated every school in the city for this. I cried
Unless the person that took this photo did a parachute jump right after and wasn’t on the roof when (or if) the plane hit the building.
Load More Replies...Many of these photos were featured here on bored panda as well lol
I'm tied between being mad at falling for some of these and being impressed at their amazing photoshop skills.
Once I used the batcomputer to basically ‘photoshop’ a picture of myself smiling just to make a postcard.
