There are many things in life that $185 will get you, including an insane shopping spree at your local dollar store, but of all the things to spend your money on, we can’t think of anything better than this $185 paper clip from Prada.
Yes. That’s right. A paper clip for the bargain price of $185. It’s made from sterling silver and, unlike normal boring paper clips that only hold documents together, this one holds your money, or whatever money you have left over after buying one of them. Sounds awesome, right? Well, not according to the internet, because people on Twitter were clearly not impressed by Prada’s latest release. See for yourself below. What do you think? I think if you can afford it and you want it and think it right for you, who is to say anything? Some people are label whores and buy anything which shows they have the ability to purchase what everyone else may not be able to purchase with their disposable cash. Often people waste money on stupid, excessive, ridiculous, ostentatious items, so what is the difference? If you want to hold your bills in a paperclip by Prada, I say have at it and enjoy. You can just about imagine, your neighbors, The Jones won't be copying your purchase.

So it's a larger stronger paperclip. So you can clip your paper money together, if you have any left after blowing it on paper clips.

I'm twisted. Imagine having this chi-chi money clip? Going to a bar, reaching into your pocket, making sure your money was folded just so, and making sure the bar tender/waitstaff/customers all saw that you had a Prada Paper Clip?! Holding it in the light, just so, so people could see it? Otherwise, what's the point?

It's a money clip, shaped like a paperclip made of pure sterling silver. I've seen other designer money clips. costing much more and made from lesser metals. The design isn't very original granted, but for sterling (which is going up in value right now), it's not really all that outrageously priced ;)

Healthcare here in my country has gone sky high. For now, the government helps those who don't have the means to pay for it. Just hope this will last. Healthcare is privet and cost around 500. SFR per person. The real average salary is between 3'200. SFR to 5'000. SFR. Yet the federal government has taken all salaries and has come up with this unbelievable average of 10'500.- SFR. This not true, there is no minimum salary here. Switzerland is a haven for the very rich not for the working class.

I wonder if people would go so nuts over it, if it wasn't shaped like a paper clip. Quick Google search for silver money clip brings up lots of top end silver money clips at that price and higher (but also some cheaper, Guess it depends on the quality and caret of the silver). So a clip at that price isn't uncommon. IDK usually you buy someone else a money clip (that you save for) as a special gift for a significant occasion rather than buy one for yourself on a whim. No judgement either way, just thinking a loud.

Something that looks like an ordinary stationary supply, will give them status? Sorry... I can't. My commoner mind cannot process this $hit.

So true! It's like spending a grand on a pencil that is basically a normal pencil, but with real chunks of silver in the lead! You might spend loads on it, but it still looks like a 99p pencil!
