I love this book! I really like the cover too, I know you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover but if it’s a book I really like/want I try and find one with a pretty design! It’s the puffin cloth bound classic edition if you’re interested in getting it!

A classic but this cover is plain awful. The so called artist certainly isn't familiar with the anatomy of a horse.

Me too! This and her book “Coming Home” have been in my reading rotation for the last 20 years. They’re comfort reading for me

One of my all-time favorites, just behind The Shell Seekers! I've read them both multiple times, and each time, it feels like coming home. ❤️

A most excellent read. I highly recommend. Also, the "Ladies of Grace Adieu" by the same author is equally good.
