The reason as to why the English drive on the left was back in the horse and cart days, the majority was right handed, so if there was a case of, well, muggings, or old school road rage, they could use their right hand for their sword or gun etc.

Actually only Britain is driving on good side of road. We all used to. It all changed during WW2.

My Chinese friend from Shanghai always drank hot tea during the summer and August months in New England; she said it was to cool down.

I agree I prefer my tea, iced or hot, unsweetened, steeped with mint leaves is good. If I want to drink diabetes I'll go buy a Coke.

If I order iced tea anywhere, I normally tell them to split it half and half sweet and unsweetened. It mixes easier with the sweet on top instead of the bottom

Are you serious?! Hershey's is bitter to them? Man and I thought American chocolate was overly sweet. I love me some high-quality 70% cacao dark chocolate!

I don't know exactly who you are referring to in this comment? Please do not tarnish every body with the same brush, our dark chocolate is around 90% Hershey chocolate is just sickly sweet.

American visit orthodontists from an early age and have their teeth capped, veneered, shaped, bleached, whatever. British understand that natural teeth are not brilliant white and unless they are false or doctored in some way. Simple for anyone not American complicated for you lot.

Both Americans of British descent, and British at home have narrow jaws. I had two teeth removed after second teeth came in; my daughter had to have two teeth removed after her second teeth came in, and then braces to keep everything from changing back.

Talking to some people who lived in America for a few years they said how horrid the tea was, had to import from Europe, so obviously the Americans have no idea what they are talking about..
