My Sister Spreads Body Positivity By Creating Embroidery Designs For People Of All Shapes And Sizes
My sister Erin hand embroiders custom pieces of her clients. She does a lot of nude pieces for people of all shapes and sizes!
She also does custom non-nude pieces upon a request, and has embroidered animals and children!
I think it's amazing so I thought I'd share!

I was thinking, Ok, lots of white girl butts. LOTS of little, white girl butts. Then, I suddenly thought ~ hey! I might try to embroider some part of my own body. Like my right hand, now swollen by lymphedema from my breast cancer treatment. Yeah! Maybe that will help me accept and even love this new, previously unwelcome, change of shape. So, thank you for embroidering all these butts and bodies, sister. And sister, thanks for sharing them. Apparently, I needed this. Love, peace, prosperity, all that

While these are lovely, it doesn't seem to be for body positivity. All the butt sizes are the same and they are all perfectly shaped, which may do the opposite of the purpose it was named for.

I think it was nice. I too thought there would be more variety in body styles. However. Perhaps that is the artist own body type and she is trying to have positivity in het own self image. Even if you are considered the norm you could still feel badly about your body. It seems to have come with the territory of being a woman. But if we can all appreciate ourselves we can better encourage others to do the same.

I never thought embroidery could be so colourful and intricate. These are very beautiful, I'd buy them if they were on sale!

Why are people disliking other peoples comments? It clearly says different body types. Some the pictures had hidden messages, even if you didn't understand them please just be nice about it because someone worked very hard on this.

I don't know what comments people are disliked, but there really aren't variations in the body types.
