People Notice There’s Something Wrong With The Rock’s New Movie Poster, And Things Escalate Quickly
People are calling Dwayne Johnson ‘The Rock-et’ after he shared a movie poster of his upcoming flick. The action thriller is set in the not-so-distant future, where his character, Will Ford, is called in to inspect the security at the tallest skyscraper in the world, called The Pearl. And yes, films like these don’t always rely on the laws of physics, but the internet believes this one is a wee bit too much illogical.
After scanning the promotional material with skepticism, movie-geeks had a lot to say about the stunt performed on Skyscraper movie poster. I mean, some of them even used math and drew charts to back up their claims, so it’s safe to say that things got serious. After the actor shared it online, people noticed something was not quite righ
It didn’t take long before things got really serious
The smartest minds on the internet tackled the issue
And some wondered if other unknown factors were involved
Photoshop wizards even tried fixing it
But in the end it would probably look something like this
Some jokes summed up the situation perfectly
Wait, apart from the scientific analysis let's stick to some basic logic. The question is, why would anyone want to jump INTO a burning building instead of just getting as far from it as possible?:P
Because he's The bloody Rock. And The Rock does what he wants to do - period.

These are so funny! i saw the poster and my first reaction was, "he ain't gonna make that!" but it never would've occurred to me to do any of this! These are great!

They forgot to calculate into the equation that he's the most electrifying man in sports entertainment.
I haven't seen any trailers or anything but f**k the parabola, what's with the height of the building, and why does it show reflections of other buildings straight out at camera level where there aren't any other buildings, as shown in the photo? The jump is the least of the worries here.
Ok, but what if it wasn't a crane and was like a diving board with extra springs that'd propel him higher, and he was running Usain bolt level fast when he jumped off?

Well, it's the same Hollywood physics that allows Chris Pratt's character to apparently survive being ungulfed in a pyroclastic flow from an erupting volcano in the new Jurassic World trailer.
