For Amey, it might be a fleeting expression on someone’s face that inspires an entire portrait. Either way, inspiration is a daily scavenger hunt.

“There’s so much content out there,” Amey continued. “To make sure your work stands out, you have to give it a personal touch. It requires not just skill, but also a clear voice. People need to be able to look at your work and immediately think, ‘Yep, that’s them.’” That’s exactly why Dude With Sign works—he’s turned simple cardboard into a recognizable brand.
