Well technically it's not cannibalism because while mermaids are fish it's not cannibalism until a mermaid eats another mermaid.

I also used to cut up the plastic rings for drinks and stuff but I watched this video and it said cutting up the plastic isn't enough and that the fish still might eat the plastic, so it need to be recycled.

But hard for that clear cut to recover when someone comes along and slaps a 120 unit apartment complex on it. Where are all the deer and animals supposed to go then. Not to mention how many animals are slaughtered during the clear cut process. Have you ever seen an area after they've clear cut. Dead squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, possum, deer, turtles and various other animals. In our area alone, about 400 acres of forest have been cleared to build cookie cutter homes. There used to be loads of deer, raccoons and turtles that lived in that area..now they're all gone. It's not necessary for EVERYONE to have a free standing home on a piece of property. Build up, not out and stop cutting all the damn trees down. There's plenty of abandoned buildings on lots that can be removed to make new apartment complexes.

Nole, we cut the trees much faster than the tree regrowing. Also there are many plants that live under the shade of the trees, without tall trees to block the sunlight they will die because of dehydration and sunburn.

The suppression of wildfires has lead to forests which are very dense with mature trees, this is good for the logging industry, but trees with no branches within reach of deer are pretty useless to them.

So True! Similar to controlled burns that help get rid of the dry matter that make wildfires so devastating.

Yes! Poachers are a huge problem all over the world. But responsible hunters actually help to conserve wildlife.

So are dentists who go big game hunting.

Actually the people who are scum are often the people who hire the poachers or but ivory and other substances that come from these animals. The poachers are often actually just poorer people who do what they have to so that their family has food for another day, and they don't realize how much they are harming the population of endangered animals. They pretty much go with the supply and demand. The people that "demand" it are scum, and the people who "supply" are often, but not always, just less fortunate people doing what they have to do.

Wrong..the chemical that is sprayed on apples is the equivalent of Round Up. These are caustic chemicals that build up in your system over time. In this case, a conventional apple a day will probably put the doctor on your front doorstep since over consumption or exposure to Round Up can cause cancer. And the pesticides that are sprayed on conventional apples, like Bud Nip, does not wash off because it soaks into the the skin of the fruit and in the first few centimeters of flesh. Organic apples are usually sprayed with oil concentrates to repel the bugs, not kill them. And the pesticides are easily washed off before consumption. I think I'll stick with Organic.
