The situation is truly truly horrible and we must do whatever we can to clean up the oceans. I always cut my plastic rings to ensure they don't endanger fish. That being said if she unfortunately passed away, and you were on a deserted island for many many months with nothing else to eat - at what point does she go from sushi to cannibalism?

Well technically it's not cannibalism because while mermaids are fish it's not cannibalism until a mermaid eats another mermaid.

While the large items are bad, it is the microplastic that really is the problem. And even many of us whole try to live sustainable leave their trace, for example through cosmetics...

OMG, a partial clear-cut! But note that it was just a partial cut. This makes room for grasses, ferns, bushes, and other smaller vegetation to cover the opening. And the process of reforestation begins all over, with almost all herbivores having a field day, eating at all the fresh new greenery they can munch on. Its a Win Win!

But hard for that clear cut to recover when someone comes along and slaps a 120 unit apartment complex on it. Where are all the deer and animals supposed to go then. Not to mention how many animals are slaughtered during the clear cut process. Have you ever seen an area after they've clear cut. Dead squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, possum, deer, turtles and various other animals. In our area alone, about 400 acres of forest have been cleared to build cookie cutter homes. There used to be loads of deer, raccoons and turtles that lived in that area..now they're all gone. It's not necessary for EVERYONE to have a free standing home on a piece of property. Build up, not out and stop cutting all the damn trees down. There's plenty of abandoned buildings on lots that can be removed to make new apartment complexes.

I think Bambi's biggest problem was hunting. Over hunting animals to extinction would have been better suited. Like, Bambi having PTSD thoughts while witnessing a bunch of other young deer searching and finding their dead parents.

Almost Every case in the collapse of civilizations take place during a Grand Solar Minimum: known to most as "Little Ice Age". The worst case in the last thousand years was the Maunder Minimum, and it looks like this upcoming GSM will pretty much parallel that one. Look it up.

there's actually a much more relevant issue been going on with Treaty dams. Big hydro companies flooding out communities to make way for large dams and not giving native communities a say or offering any compensation. It sounds boring, but the dams do also some environmental damage as well.

It is a non-photo blue pencil. They're used to sketch. You can ink over your blue sketch and not have to erase, because it won't show up in pictures/scans.

Fun fact you would have to consume around 800 apples in a single setting to feel the effects of the pesticides they put on them. And commercial organic operations use pesticides as well, the ones they use are just classified as "natural" but typically contain heavy metals (like copper) which bio-accumulate and can have negative neurological effects.
