Double Dip With Primary Elements ~ Acrylic Pour Painting

I had some paints left from the pour, that I did with Marine and decided to experiment a little bit again.

Dip technique is really simple way to do nice painting without skills for drawing. Just drizzle some paint, dip them and you get a beautiful acrylic pour diptych painting. I experimenting with adding Liquitex gloss medium in my paint mixture, and Primary elements did bead as much. I did a little straight pour too, and it dried beautiful.

Double dip with Primary elements ~ Acrylic pour painting

PROCESS:
– Pour your base on canvas
– Make stripes with your colours
– Pres the second canvas/wood/tile on top
– Split them apart

COLOURS:
– Boesner titanium white
– Amsterdam prussian blue phthalo mixed with Primary elements payne’s grey
– Amsterdam olive green light mixed with Primary elements olive vine
– Amsterdam naples yellow green
– Amsterdam oxide black
– Pearl white

MATERIAL:
– 6×8 inch MDF board
– Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
– Wooden skewer
– Palete knife
– Torch

My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium

All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and Dufa acrylic emulsion.
