It has been almost two weeks since the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man killed in police custody. Since then, civil rights protests have spread across the United States and around the world. And while people are demanding justice, their dogs are there to support them.
Twitter user Jasmine Rice has compiled a whole thread of pictures of very good bois and girls protesting. You have Dachshunds holding anti-racism signs, Huskies wearing Black Lives Matters shirts; pooches of all breeds are condemning bigotry and violence. Continue scrolling to meet them!

According to CNN, Sunday brought a string of symbolic and significant victories for the protesters, as the peaceful demonstrations prompted authorities to lift curfews and withdraw National Guard troops.
In Minneapolis, a veto-proof supermajority of the city expressed their support for a protest demand that has gained a lot of momentum this week and pledged their commitment to defunding and dismantling the city's police force.

"Yes. We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a transformative new model of public safety," council member Lisa Bender tweeted.
As recent protests around the US have remained peaceful, authorities have started easing up restrictions: Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, and Buffalo in upstate New York just lifted curfews.
Also, following the suspension of two NYPD officers for excessive force toward protesters, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that the city would move funding away from the police force and instead put it toward youth and social services.
President Donald Trump tweeted today that he has ordered the National Guard to start withdrawing from Washington, DC. However, so far it is still not clear if all troops are being withdrawn or just those who came from out of state.

And things are happening not just in the US. Solidarity protests have spread all across the globe. In England, for example, thousands of people gathered in the streets of London and Edinburgh in support for the Black Lives Matter movement. And a crowd in Bristol even toppled the statue of a 17th-century slave trader and threw it into a river.
I have a feeling doggos are doing their part in these places as well!

I worry about people bringing young children and dogs to protests when they know it might be dangerous. You have a choice to put yourself at risk, but you are making the decision for them.
To Tres D, we do have a black culture problem, in that we are spending more money on police then we are on housing and education and other social services. And when you say "they commit 53 percent of ALL murders" .. not sure where that number comes from but it could means black people are convicted of more murders, not that they are more likely to commit the crime. Facts due matter but statistics can be twisted to say what you what them to say.
Ok then, Tres D, if you're gonna be like that, then I'm going to take a guess and say that the reason for black people to "commit more crimes" are the racist and biased people that have kept so many of them in poverty. When you're stuck in poverty, you're more likely to commit a crime, NO MATTER YOUR SKIN COLOR, to survive. A black person born into poverty doesn't automatically have less integrity than a white person born into poverty, just like how a black person born into wealth doesn't have more or less integrity than a white person born into wealth. There are a NUMBER of different factors for someone to commit a crime, whether it be poverty, their childhood/past experience, the way their parents raised them, and mental disabilities. They could have been someone who cured cancer, if not for the way their parents raised them, or if they had not been born into poverty and forced to live in a low-income neighborhood with gangs. 1/4
And those people in the gang are in the gang because they might be trying to get money to keep their families fed, or to protect their families from other people who are just trying to survive. A number of different factors are at play when it comes to how a person will turn out as an adult. A white child isn't born with racist tendencies, they are taught by their parents to hate black people and other people of color, based on their skin color. Just like how black people aren't born with the tendency to commit more crimes, they might be taught that in order to survive, you have to take matters into your own hands. If your family is starving, you need to jump someone with some other people in order to get money, because the white people in charge of the stores in the area are racist, so you won't be able to get a job to work and get money. It isn't their fault, even if they DO commit more crimes, they're just trying to survive, just like everyone else, and 2/4
they're doing the best that they can. Being low income and in a bad neighborhood are common factors that lead kids to live lives of crime, as well as their home lives. Say there's four black families in a bad neighborhood, for example. Two of the families have supportive, loving parents, because they were raised by supportive, loving parents. The other two though, have alcoholic, abusive parents, because the parent's parents were raised with alcoholic, abusive parents. Now, say that all of the parents have the same problem: Poverty. They're all dirt poor, and trying to keep their families afloat. The four families all have 2 children each. One family's children both turn out as well-mannered, well-rounded, and hard-working adults, while the other family's kids turn to drugs and gangs and lives of crime, despite the loving household and same at-home environments. Now, look at the alcoholic, abusive families. The first's kids turn out as well mannered, 3/4
well-rounded, and hard-working as the first supportive, loving family's kids. Yet, despite the same living conditions, the 2nd alcoholic, abusive family's kids turn out the same as their parents, and the 2nd supportive, loving family's kids. The kids weren't born this way, it was the result of their individual ways of thinking. The #1 SL family's kids decided "hey, I want to be like mama and papa, and lead a good life, because if I get good grades and a good job, I can move out of this bad neighborhood, go to college, and raise a good family.", while the #2's kids thought "there's no way I'm ever going to be able to get out of this dump, even if my parents are amazing, it's not enough to save me. I'm hopeless and stuck here.", and turned to a life of drugs, gangs, and crime. While the #3's kids, the ones from the AA family thought "I'm not going to end up like mama and papa. I'm going to do whatever I can to escape from here and lead a good, healthy life and raise my children right.", while the 4th family's kids might have thought similarly to the 2nd family's kids, "I'm hopeless, and I'm going to end up like mama and papa, because there's no escape from here.". Basically, what I'm TRYING to say is that there's a MILLION different factors at play when it comes to your conclusion of "black people commit more crimes because that just who they are" then biological tendencies and traits. It comes to their individual experiences and their mental state. Not "one skin color is just biologically better than the other". Don't be a twat. 4/4

Percentage wise blacks murder more blacks. Percentage wise more blacks are poor than whites. There are more whites in America than blacks, so real numbers more whites are poor than blacks, but percentage wise you are more likely to be shot by a cop if you are black than if you are white. Real numbers more whites are killed by the cops each year, because there are more of us. But compared one to one cops are going to shoot a Blackman before a white. That's why we have to have change, because being black shouldn't be a death because you were walking down the street, or running to get home on time.

Those numbers come from the DOJ. They're convicted of more crimes because they commit more crimes. Those are hard cold facts. Liberals have been pouring money into every major city in the country for decades and things only get worse. Liberal policies simply don't work! Look at ANY major city in the country, that should be proof enough. As far as education goes, you can pour as much money as you want into the public schools but if kids don't show up what's the point. There is nobody at home that holds these kids accountable for anything. The acceptance of low expectations is killing the black communities, and unfortunately they blame everybody else for their problems.
The fact that dogs do have actual races (in the biological sense) but do care about this at all when interfering with each other is an interesting aspect to this.
