Like owner, like a dog... This saying has never been so right before. Why? Just take a look at this fun series of dogs that look like their owners created by British photographer Gerrard Gethings. He is known for his funny dog portraits that are always full of character.
This time Gethings brought the best appearance traits of both people and their beloved pet dogs to the public eye by pairing them together. Talent, creativity, and, of course, hard work lead to these hilarious portraits of owners posing in the same manner as their companion animals, and the more you look at these owner and dog photos, the funnier it gets. If by any chance you thought that it would probably make an even funnier dog and owner matching memory board game – you were right, since "Do You Look Like Your Dog" has been released, featuring all 25 pairs of portraits.

It's a real condition some people have, I've known 3 people with different color eyes and they've ALL had dogs with the same thing. They seek each other out!

Lol you guys are funny. The photographer does things to make the human look like the dogs (in all of these pictures). The guy doesn't have heterochromia - he's wearing a color contact to make him look like the dog. SMH.

I saw that recently! It's fantastic. Love the songs. Worked with an old dude who saw the stage production. Said it was very cold in the theatre - had quite an impact on the nude scenes apparently.

This too much to handle for me. My 4 legged friends is a Chihuahua, trim, small, long legged and big almond shaped eyes. I am short legged, chubby, tiny skunked in eyes, and I'm from being tiny. I do wish that I could look more my very elegant pet.

The resemblance is there in almost all of these photos, the poses and sometimes hair appearance in some are obviously styled/posed to show more similarities but the resemblance is definitely there!

A few years ago, my boyfriend's goatee started to turn white, well, our chocolate lab, who was about 2-3 years old at the time, started to turn white around the snout also... one of the weirdest thing I've ever seen (not that her color changed, but that it happened at the same time).

I noticed this phenomenon years ago when I kept noticing big similarities in dogs and owners, not just personality traits but eeringly similar phisical resemblences. I noticed intelligent people had extremely intelligent dogs as well, ECT.

That logic would explain my schnauzer's, and my two cat's, mile-wide stubborn streak. Unfortunately, I don't look anything like them (they are gorgeous).
