Dog Owners Share 'Then Vs. Now' Photos Of Their Pupper Growing Up Quickly (91 Pics)
Pets grow up so fast. Most of us didn't even notice how the small bean that we took home became a big doggo. Usually, it takes only a year for a dog to fully grow up. So you can see the changes they go through in even a few weeks.
That's exactly what Twitter user @wilkray proved by showing a picture of his pupper Pier at 8 weeks and 8 months. The difference is huge. Pier grew up to be a big dog, as he's not even done growing! People on Twitter liked what they saw. As of right now, the picture has over 700k likes and has even started its own thread. In the thread, people are sharing their own puppers and how much they've grown in a few weeks, months, or years. The whole thread is adorable and it's bound to make you smile.

If any of you have ever adopted a pet and raised them from when they were little, you will understand that seeing them grow up is something else. In weeks, they change so much, not only in size but in personality. Younger puppies are often wilder, doing their business wherever they please, biting, scratching, and many more mischievous adventures. All they require is proper training. Sadly, many people abandon their dogs when they are tiny without seeing them grow up to be amazing family members. So please be ready for lots of chaos when you get a puppy, or any animal, for that matter!

It would be quite fun to be able to get an interview from a dog and for them to tell us what it was like to grow up so fast. However, one has to be realistic and realize that dogs would probably be way more interested in getting food than answering questions. And they would probably not even notice that they grew up. Only that their toys and snacks are smaller.
We have many articles on Bored Panda about pets growing up. Here is an adorable article about pets that grew up with their toys and refuse to let them go. And here are some before and after pictures of animals growing up together, like a dog growing up with a fox. And last, but not least, dogs growing up with their owners. See how much the pet and their human change over time!
What do you think of this Twitter thread? Would you have something to submit to it? Well, it's not too late! Grab your dog and show us how much they've grown. If you don't have a doggo, it's still fun to scroll through and see all the submissions in the thread.

There is no good reason to crop ears as it does not benefit the dog. Poor thing.
