We all know that a Mother’s love has no boundaries and she will do everything and anything for her family and kids.
One Pinay Mompreneur, Rodessa Villanueva-Reyes shared her before-and-after DIY project on Facebook, and it gained over 1000k likes and over 100 comments from fellow parents.

Mom created a mini play kitchen made of cardboard boxes that she collected from friends
She started by aligning the cardboard boxes
Then she drew cutting lines for the doors, oven, etc
She used vinyl stickers and white cartolina to cover-up the boxes
To jazz up the mini kitchen, Mommy Rodessa used her daughter’s existing kitchen toys to complete the look
To make it more exciting, she printed out a signage “Audrey’s Cafe & Restaurant” made from an illustration board, and pasted it using glue
To make the sink, she uses her existing 6×2 baking pan. The faucet is made from an empty hand-soap bottle
The oven range switches are made from jar caps
…. and tadah! Her little kitchen-diva is definitely happy with the result

It's just showing the basics of the kitchen, you don't you use the same colors or items for it, not everything has to be about sexism

I think you mean about gender roles maybe? I also think you're right, the colors and details can be tailored for every kid's liking, you don't have to use pink for a girl!

Looks fab! But, now, let's do a laboratory, hospital or workshop so the kid can play 'grown-up with a paid job' ;-)

Hmm sad guess I need to put this here too. :( I don't see why a boy couldn't play with it other than maybe that she does not have a son? Pretty sure this wasn't a "DIY FOR LITTLE GIRLS" pretty sure it specifically states "How To Create A Mini Cardboard Kitchen For You Toddler" I guess toddlers are just little girls now?? Hmm also seems to say "We all know that a Mother’s love has no boundaries and she will do everything and anything for her family and kids." Hmm yep again nothing about little girls UNTIL it's talking about this specific family . . . how queer. . . I guess they were NOT pushing gender roles at all . . . that was JUST you.

Lots of kids enjoy playing in kitchens, because lots of times they see sheir mothers and fathers in the kitchen and want to imitate them. It's not really about what they want to be, it's want they enjoy doing at that age. This article is just to show a creative way of making a toy for kids :)
