Disney Cast ‘Humanimalized’: 30 Animal Characters Turned Into Humans (New Pics)
Interview With ArtistI think most of us here have heard about the digital artist and illustrator Alex Pick. He is best known for his Disney character series where he turns the said characters into humans and vice versa. Today he is back at Bored Panda to show off some of his newest works that are infused purely with his imagination, letting him portray Disney characters in a different way.
As we mentioned before, he transforms animal characters into humans and humans into animals, always maintaining the style, aesthetics, and personal traits of those certain characters.
In a recent interview, Alex told us a little bit about the things that influenced him and his art when he was growing up.
"I grew up in the time when 2D Disney movies had their big time and they had a major impact on me. I always dreamed to work on these movies or at least in that style. It’s like living the fairytale princess dream. I'm absolutely influenced by daily life, Instagram, movies, and viral series."
You can find more of his works here on Bored Panda by clicking here and here.

Bored Panda reached out to Alex with some questions! First, we asked Alex what was the reason behind his art style being so Disney-like.
"I’ve grown up watching Disney movies like 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Ariel the little mermaid,' '101 Dalmatians;' 'The Lion King' and all the other ones and they had such a massive impact on me. I always dreamed as a kid to become an artist one day and draw like the artists working at these movies. I think I still dream of this by drawing so much Disney fanart."
Alan-A-Dale And Lady Kluck
Save for Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Gotta show them love, too.

We all know how much Alex loves Disney but we were curious if he'd be willing to try and draw other characters too!
"I’m not that good at planning. But it’s a good idea to Humanize Pixar characters as well, some of my followers already suggested for example 'Cars'“ or '„Monsters Inc.' I will see if I can manage to include some of these."
Alex has done quite a few series on various Disney characters, therefore we wanted to know which one was his favorite.
"Well, I think Disney 'HUMANIMALS' is really popular atm as well as the Disney Harry Potter mashups. I think there is still more creative space to grow these series, like doing for example the characters from Fantastic Beasts afterward."
Olivia Flaversham
well what does Olivia look like without her hat and coat just the other outfit with her red bow?
Gill
The voice is perfect for Gill as well, Willem Dafoe! 😍
Load More Replies...Wouldn't this count as *half* humanized? I mean... they are still fishes...I'll let myself out.
This is not how I imagined Gill... more Robert-de-Niro-old-crook, less Prince of Persia
Alex has had a lot of projects in the past, but we were also curious to know if he was planning on making something new anytime soon.
"I’m still working on the series I started and there’s a lot of more work to complete them. Like the HUMANIMAL Series. I want to draw so many more characters from 'The Lion King,' 'Rapunzel' or more of the classics. But I always think about new creative ideas which are not ready to talk about yet. I hope I will be able to do more of the Movie Mashups soon!"
Little Pearl
The Flower From Alice In Wonderland
We all know that Alex's art style is very close to that of the actual Disney but we also wanted to know if Pick was willing to try something new.
"Well if I had all the time of the world I would try lots more different stuff. I really like Anime, stuff like 'Detective Conan' and 'Sailor Moon' but unfortunately, at the moment I do not have the time to get deeper into these subjects."
The creative process is not easy, but there are many enjoyable parts to it.
"I think I love the whole process of the art coming to life. I can’t describe it that well but I think it’s something really special to come up with an idea, put it in a scribble or sketch and then finalize it into a piece of art."
Max Goof And Roxanne
Somehow Roxanne became even cuter even though she's already perfect. ❤️
Terk
Gorillas are not white. Unlike the queen of England.
Load More Replies...Asking real questions here this time. We were set on finding out Alex's favorite Disney character! Here's what he had to say.
My favorite Disney character? That’s a tough question. I have too many... I guess like Ariel, Ursula, Cruella DeVil and I've got some more favorites"
Lastly, we wanted Alex to evaluate his work and tell us in all honestly what is his favorite series or work in particular that he has done so far.
"It's hard to choose some favorite series or art piece from my own stuff, because like every artist I guess I struggle with my own art from time to time. But I love what I’m doing and I love that I have the creativity and capability to bring my art to life."
Sabor From Tarzan
Same, the hair is so cool and I prefer without face paint, something about the right just looks better.
Load More Replies...For the gorillas I wanted darker skin but the left one could work for the cheetah 🐆
Bolt
Nemo
Cause Nemo had a little fin, and the artist decided that meant that he was missing part of his arm
Load More Replies...Tantor
“Are you sure this waters sanitary? It’s looks questionable to meeeee.”
Ratigan
Nope. Ratigan was meant to be physically large. I have always imagined him as the voice actor, Vincent Price. The animators included some of his gestures and mannerisms, too...
Load More Replies...Dory
Cheshire Cat
Girl Squirrel From The Sword In The Stone
Omg i ugly cried as a kid when they leave her. Still would probably
Same. OMG the look on her face when the romance is over. 💔
Load More Replies...Wart was only 12. I don't know what that is in squirrel years but that girl was definitely hungry for nuts.
Load More Replies...Rhino
Should be older. His personality strikes me as a mid-thirties neckbeard.
Bruni
I think an androgynous forest spirit adds to the mystery.

Crush And Squirt
THe Finding nemo Crush looks like an actor to me, but I can't remember his name.
Marlin
Basil
Coral
RIP When I was a kid I thought coral was a guy because she "didn't have eyelashes" (even though dory doesn't have eyelashes) and when she died, I thought Nemo's egg was her. Like when clownfish die they turn into eggs or something, so I thought she reincarnated as Nemo. I also ate dogfood as a kid so I wasn't the brightest
that would make me kinda think that this version of Coral is killed off by some killer mer-version of a barracuda
Bruce
Merlin
I love all of the different animals, but I think the squirrel is my favorite ❤️
Bruni
I absolutely love this, but I think that Disney said Bruni was a male.
Granny Squirrel From The Sword In The Stone
Sebastian
This is well-executed, but a conceptual miss. Sebastian is a crab, yet you make him a fish-merman?! Come on, how hard would it have been to make him a mer-crab? Like Ursula except arthropod instead of mollusc...
It's weird that most of them are humans and the ocean animals become merfolk.
Load More Replies...Kerchak
These are good, but realistically, the locals from Tarzan would most likely be black
I was just thinking about that too. its also interesting that while the main characters are all super fair skinned, the jaguar was one of 2 deepest skin tones drawn here ...
Load More Replies...Cleo
Dinah
These were really well done! They even kept them similar to the art style/era.
Load More Replies...I hope you don't mind that i did that: https://www.deviantart.com/heart8822/art/Sabor-human-base-939275360
Oooops. Right, let's try that again. Ahem. I don't understand why so many artists do the "Artist draws diseases if they were Disney characters." Have some originality.
Load More Replies...Check again, most of the big animals became stocky, but not necessarily fat. They are strong, muscular, sturdy body types. The fat hamster and the elephant became 'fat' because that's kind of what the animals are.
