Artist Turns Disney Characters From Animals To Humans And Vice Versa (22 New Pics)
We all come to recognize and appreciate what the most memorable characters from Disney classics look like. They all have their own distinct aesthetic, style, and character traits. Alex Pick has "shuffled the deck," as it were, and created his own series of Disney 'humanimals,' where he inverts the human characters into animals and animals into humans. And even though the transformations are radical, they're all accurate and true to the spirit of the character.
Alex Pick has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil, and never wanted to do anything else. He grew up inspired by Disney animation, and even dreamed of becoming an animator for Disney himself. Even though this dream didn't turn out to be true, as the saying goes, as one door closes, another one opens. Which is why he's doing these series, and gaining thousands of loyal fans with each submission.

Kanga And Roo, From Winnie The Pooh
Even without working at Disney, he has a solid professional success: Alex works as a designer at a German animation studio by day, and draws a lot of fanart after it. His favorite Disney movies are classics like The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast. But he also likes contemporary 3D movies like Tangled, Moana, and Frozen as well.
Tigger & Eeyore
Eeyore is definitely an Emo- he has a my Chemical Romance T-shirt on under the grey hoodie
OMG I JUST REALIZED THAT EEYORE IS BASICALLY THE ANIMALS VERSION OF INSIDE OUT'S SADNESS!!!!!!!!!
Owl, Rabbit & Gopher, From Winnie The Pooh
Weird to see Owl as a man. In Russian translation Owl is an old lady (the word owl is a grammatical feminine).
In Jungle Book Mowgli is a Bear. In here, Which animal could be Christopher Robin?
For those of you wanting to comment that humans are animals, hold your horses. It wasn't the artist's idea to call it like that. He noticed a few artists doing takes on this theme, and wanted to try his hand himself. And he really enjoys doing it. He's planning to do a take on movies like Zootopia, The Lion King, and others, so keep your eye out!
Lady Kluck, From Robin Hood
how do you mean? As in the character chosen, or the redraw?

Imagine how that would change the story.. a wolf chilling with a whole bunch of humans, then discovering it belongs to someone else, and they have to return it to them.. I would go in further detail of what could happen but I'm too tired rn.
i got confused til i realize mowgli be an animal since he already human
It isn't the first time he's been in Bored Panda's spotlight with these wonderful creations of his. Here's the link to the first part of this series, and as you can imagine, it's as great as this one. If you like his work, or you're a Disneyhead just like him, you can check him out on Instagram, or even become one of his 135k followers, who are always eager to see what he comes up with next. And if you just love anything Disney, here are some the most recent posts here on the topic, such as Disney princesses going through pregnancy, what if Disney had modern technologies, and another topic from Alex Pick doing covers of popular movie posters with Disney characters.
Chip & Dale
Few people notice the intentional and direct connection between these characters and the Magnum PI/ Indiana Jones characters... And now you cannot un-think it.
Flounder
Balu, Bagheera & Mowgli
See this photo and start singing out loud "Look for the bare necessities, The simple bare necessities..."
Not sure where you got that from. I've always thought he was male, so checked him out. Disney definitely lists Bagheera as a male black panther. https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Bagheera AND https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bagheera
Load More Replies...Winnie The Pooh, Piglet & Christopher Robin
And how do you know the drawing of him isn’t female? Plus, the character is male.
Load More Replies...Little John, From Robin Hood
Gadget Hackwrench
Anyone else have a crush on the rat version when they were a kid? Loooool
Shere Khan
Rudyard Kipling was born in British India, in 1865, so it would make sense to him for these characters to have British accents. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudyard_Kipling
Load More Replies...The Sheriff Of Nottingham, From Robin Hood
Einstein And Francis, From Oliver & Co
Not to sound rude but i don't think they're a couple in the movie? Could possibly be though, and if so I apologize!
Load More Replies...Faline & Bambi
as a kid i thought they were both girls and have to admit im kinda disappointed that they wernt
Load More Replies...Bagheera
In some countries like in Poland Bagheera in translatora was a female (as panther/pantera is female word) so it Was also big shock for me when I found out that my beloved femine character wasn't written as female :D
Nope. In the original books, Bagheera is a male panther. He's always referred to as "he"
Load More Replies...Looks unusual. Bagheera is a lady in Russian (like Owl in Winnie the Pooh - the words owl and panther are feminine grammaticaly)
Monty And Zipper, Gadget, From Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
Jenny Foxworth, From Oliver & Company
Cubi & Sunni Gummis
I don’t actually know these characters, but the one in green looks like Tinkerfairy or whatever her name is-
Faline
i dont think the outfit suits her but the facial appearance is similar (especially the eyes). A great job on these though!
Mowgli As A Bear
kinda creepy in my opinion. idk why but the neck is triggering me
King Louie
King Louie's original voice actor was Louis Prima--who despite being inspired by black Jazz musicians was an Italian American.
Load More Replies..."Oh, oobee doo, I wanna be like you, I wanna walk like you, Talk like you, too" Louis Prima at his best...I would have expected the new version to be as good as the original, but it lacked swing ...
It's amazing how the characters' characteristics remain in the transformations, the artist deserves to be applauded 👏👏👏
I actually wondered if this could be any good and it totally is. Most are spot on. Very nicely done.
These are sooo good and you can definitely see the same characteristics.
I'm not a big fan of "Disney princesses in 2020 style", "Disney princesses as mothers", "Disney princesses in lockdown"... posts but this one is very creative and very well done! Most of them were spot on and this was very creative, not a copy/paste of Disneys pictures with differents outfits but new characters. Great work!
they still look exactly like the character, but also different. these were so cool
This is hands down the coolest post I've seen with humanized characters! Spot on with all of them!
