I'm Martina Stipan from Croatia and 4 years ago, 16-year-old me started this challenge not knowing when it will be finished. But I was sure of one thing, I was going to finish it, no matter what.
I started it because I needed to push myself to make more great artworks. And this was just the perfect way to do it. It's bitter-sweet feeling finishing this because that means I have finally imagined and created 100 artworks, but then again, I have done them all.
So, something about the last one - Farewell. I wanted to finish in a similar tone to how it started. Artwork #1 Abandoned was published on July 12, 2014, and it's still one of my favorites. Farewell is really personal and that's why this is really important to me.
I always wanted to work in the creative field so I could share my perspective of the world. All of these artworks are done in Adobe Photoshop and with help of tablet Wacom Intuos Pro.
And how many times did I fail during these 4 years? Many times. I just counted 27 unpublished artworks that I felt weren't good enough. And failure is your best friend because you learn that you can get back up, create and do more.
