Body positivity and self acceptance are two very important topics for me, so I decided to draw vulvas which break with the idealised vision of the female genitals and also create an unseen image.

The series is called “garden of delight” and each of the artworks is showing an illustrated vulva in the middle of different plants, so that the vulva almost looks like a gorgeous flower. The illustrations are drawn with ink on paper, digitalised and then coloured on the computer.

Naturally every vulva is formed individually and therefore unique. “Garden of delight” visualises this thought and portraits vulvas in their different colours, shapes, sizes and structures.
