Beautiful Body Art By Tattoo Artist Sion Kwak (30 Pics)
Interview With ArtistA tattoo is more than just a picture or ornament slapped onto a random part of our bodies—it’s an element of identity, a social announcement that explains who we are, what we stand for, and many other things about us.
Tattooist Sion Kwak from South Korea uses this very form of art to tell these very stories of identity, beliefs, tradition, culture, and values. She creates delicate tattoo designs of knots and tassels that are like no other, displaying traditional Korean motifs in tattoo form.
Bored Panda got in touch with Sion for an exclusive interview, which you can find below along with a list of her best works throughout the years. Vote and comment on the ones you loved the most!

They are all so beautiful and delicate. Am I too old to get one done?
This is amazing! it's so gorgeous and detailed! and this must've taken such a long time and have used so much dedication to do this! i want these tattoos!
Damn, I hope that blue shade on the foot is just lighting-issues and not a bruise .that looks painful. But the tat is pretty!
I'd like to have this tattoo but i don't think the acne on my chest would like that.
Unfortunately, red ink fades faster than any other color, and most people don't bother taking care of their ink properly. If you don't want it to fade, ALWAYS wear sunscreen over your tattoos. No exceptions.
I saw a lot of the red/blue/yellow/pink flower tattoos and a lot of the behind the ear ones, and it makes me happy that people are connected in little ways like these :>
