A little over a year ago I started drawing comics to help with my depression. Some dark humor poking fun at my own struggles to remind myself to smile, or just stupid jokes that make me laugh. I never really expected them to resonate with other people, but since I've started the support has been a great reminder that I'm not alone in my problems. My sense of humor has always been my first line of defense, and maybe it can help some other people too.
So here's James of No Trades, making my way through life one bad joke at a time. Hopefully I can bring a smile to you as well!

Yup. I had a video go viral recently, and 80% or more of the comments were people ripping it apart, despite knowing nothing about the topic at hand. It was kinda crushing.

True... I did Inctober and got a lot of likes on my FB page when I posted my artworks. Posted them on BP and got DOWNVOTES. I was somewhat crushed and am struggling to pick up my pencils again.

I had to make an important call today and it literally took me the whole weekend to prepare for it :P I'm really happy I'm not the only one with intense anxiety about the phone

I think they are great and also help us to understand the mind of someone with depression. Keep up the great work and do NOT give up on yourself. You have already proven that you have a wonderful gift to share with the world.
