    Collar still smells like his buddy :( My German Shepherd Ember and my gray cat Wintressia were best friends all their lives - they were born months apart from each other. Ember díed in 2010, when she was 12 years old. I kept her dog bed and Win would still curl up in it every single day. Win lived another 8 years and díed two months shy of her 20th birthday, but I know she still missed and grieved her best friend all those years.
