These are cute. My 11 year old is kind of afraid of the dark. I made the mistake a while back of saying you don't need to be afraid of the dark but be afraid of what is IN the dark. I was joking. But now he sleeps with his tv in as light every night. What was I thinking?

I believe the best way to solve this is to be honest with him. You just need to admit that you were joking, and promise him not to joke like this again. He will understand, don't worry.

I purchased this for my sons room and they love it. The remote is useful but they like tapping the bear to change the colors. I also love that its squishy for the occasions that my youngest falls asleep with it. It's easy to charge and I can easily use my Kindle charger if I can't find the charger that came with the bear. It holds a charge right through the night and when plugged in, it charges quickly. It puts off just enough soft light for changing a diaper, breastfeeding, or getting up and down with your child when they aren't feeling well without turning on a brighter light and hurting their eyes. There are levels to the lights glow so you can go up and down to find what level of brightness suits you.
