I can't believe they are promoting this on Bored Panda. It's dangerous and cruel. Dogs need to pant to sweat. Two tiny nose holes isn't enough for them to breath. Have you ever worn one of these rubber Halloween masks? They are hot and sweaty and horrible. This is animal cruelty and should be removed from this website. Don't help these awful people make more sales.

It might look funny, but it's disrespectful to your dog

These types of masks are hot and sweaty on us humans. Ever tried to wear one on Halloween? The manufacturer says they are "open" with holes in the noses and mouths, but just imagine how hot and potentially dangerous these would be on a dog! This mask is only good to be worn for less than 30 seconds while taking a funny photo or two of your tortured doggo. Otherwise, these are absolutely dangerous.

While I will admit that the masks have a funny look to them, I completely agree with everyone who is against them for the horrible breathing design

Shame on any dog owner who chooses to humiliate their defenseless friend - all for a laugh! An appauling lack of respect for a creature who generally thinks the world of its owner! It is an utter disgrace!

I have mixed feelings about this

Animal cruelty and should be banned! Whoever designed these is sadist! Whoever sells these is an accomplice to animal cruelty including the dogs' owners! Lock them up and make them wear the masks 24/7 for the time they are in jail!

NNNooo. Guy who compared it to Invasion of the Body Snatchers? that was my first thought, and that freaked me out back in the 80s. I can take dolls and clowns, but this, no. And yeah, all the arguments about snub nosed dogs not being able to breathe properly also stands. Just destroy those hideous things forever

Dog's nose should never be covered. A proper muzzle is meant to restrain a dog to open its mouth enough to put anything in it, but is made in a way to bring minimal discomfort to an animal.

Absolutly vile. They look disgusting and stupid. Is that why you have a dog for? To suffocate them and make them look ridiculous? Then don't get one and do the dogs a favor....

This is the stuff of nightmares! Don’t do stupid things to your pets. Oh, yeah, ha, ha, looks funny but are they safe for the pet?

I'm just imagining one that looks like the terrifier clown. Awful for the poor dog though. I caught my then 7 year old putting a cape on my dog and made her stop. Can't imagine a mask.

Stick your own head in any rubber mask, like a fun ogre mask for halloween and measure how long you can stand brething the stench and humidity collecting inside , constricting your face in The worst facepalm ever. This is when you do it voluntarily. Glue an ogre mask to the faces of people doing this to their dogs.
