Here’s How Employees From Different Industries Decorated Their Workplaces With Very Fitting Christmas Trees (30 Pics)
Are fairy lights and dangling ornaments a breakable objects hazard? Do your coworkers not want to spend January picking pine needles out of the lobby?
There are plenty of reasons not to have a traditional Christmas tree at work, but if you’re missing Christmas decorations, you might be able to convince your colleagues to put up some last-minute cheer with these clever ideas that will make a fun team-building exercise, show what you're about and make anyone who walks in smile. Here are some pictures of creative and fitting trees that people made at work with whatever they could get their hands on.
You could also recreate some of these ideas at home if you skipped getting a tree this year and you have a well-stocked bookshelf or office. These people show that you can turn just about anything into a Christmas tree!

One of the tire shops near where I live has a pile of tires that are painted green just for the purpose of Christmas.
Great way to reduce plastic abuse. Would totally do this if I had the stuff. :)
came here thinking I'd be the only one to comment on the use of a turbo for a star. Instead it's just one lame fight thread, as per usual
Load More Replies...Another reason why more people each year hesitate to get a Christmas tree is the perceived impact on nature. Most people are unsure whether the greener choice is a real tree, or an artificial one that saves another tree from being cut down.
It turns out that environmental organizations don't recommend contributing to the manufacturing and shipping of plastic products by getting an artificial tree. (Of course, if you already have an artificial tree, you should make the most of it and use it for at least 10 years.)

But if you still can’t stand the thought of cutting one down as a decoration, and you're not prepared to maintain a potted tree, assembling a creative “tree” out of whatever you have lying around might be the solution you’re looking for. Try using things that you already have a lot of, and preferably that you can use again for their intended purpose after you disassemble the tree.

We're an enterprising bunch here at Raasay Distillery. When the festive season approached and we didn't have a tree handy, we made do with the best materials to hand- Barrels! These are small ex-sherry casks that are no longer up to the task of holding scotch whisky.

Encyclopedia Christmas Tree At My Local University
Actually, they are not encyclopedias, but rather the famous green volumes of the stupendous National Union Catalog, which contained catalog records of books in the Library of Congress and other American and Canadian libraries. I've seen other trees made from these green volumes, but this is by far the grandest!
Specifically this 600+ volume set was of pre-1956 books. (The post-1956 books had their own ongoing series). Good catch, Walker!

Now how many buggies do they have left for customers?
Last year in our Cardiology clinic we had a Christmas tree with gloves, disinfectant wipes containers, masks, and tissues. Our COVID tree!
My office had a beat-up artificial tree of uncertain origin. (The decorations were equally battered...) We put it up every year. One year, the head office demanded we take it down "because Christmas was over." Now, in most years it would have been down in another week, when we got caught up after the post-Christmas rush, but they annoyed up. So it got redecorated--New Years, President's Day, Easter, St. Patrick's, Flag Day, etc. They threw a fit after 4th of July. (We made our point. They never complained about the Christmas decorations again. In return, we took it down mid-January.)
