Hello! I am a primary care provider/GP (FNP) in the US. As most of the world already knows, the US is not faring well in the fight against COVID19. As a primary care provider it has been extremely stressful debunking myths, providing adequate medical care, explaining public health basics to people that refuse to listen, keeping up with never ending waves of data, and being glorified and demonized at the same time by the public. It isn’t just me, the entire medical community is not in great shape. Drawing has been a hobby of mine since I was a kid, and this isn’t the first time I’ve turned to the canvas to cope with work stress. In my own way, I just wanted to express the amalgamation of emotions that a lot of us in healthcare are dealing with right now. Thanks for reading!
