I Take Personal Portraits Of Dogs, Cats And Horses
I made these photos throughout 2014 and plan to continue on this project with more animals of different kinds – I’m thinking lions, wolves, apes, walruses and pretty much anything else. Pandas are of course the ultimate dream, so if anybody has a panda who wouldn’t mind if I photographed it, you can drop me a line where I live in Amsterdam!
It’s not easy working with animals, especially when trying to get them to do the three things I need for a photo (mouth closed, sitting still, looking at at the lens).

Hurko, a deaf Dalmatian who responds to sign language.

Cool! It's hard to get a portrait of animals, they are very mobile and do not sit in one place =)

Agreed. Also, cat color has nothing to do with race (most of the time). It's like saying blonde people tend to like carrots.

Great "faces" The black cat: Black is beautiful!! My daughter hase one, hy hates flashlights so we never get his eyes oke on a picture.

A light colored or white background would make the black animal stand out! Light blue for the blue eyed horse!!!!!

Actually the opposite is true... If you light for the cat, the background would be completely blown out if was white
