Going back to my Father’s second home for vacations meant a long day’s journey by train, bus, jeep and a trek; to a land filled with mosquitoes and a lot of mud. I did not enjoy the trips.
As the years passed by, the land was converted to a lovely little plantation with a home; I began to fall in love with the place bit by bit.
Home sweet home from amongst the trees
The view before sundown
It is a rather welcoming view home
Lonely pines are nice
Or even bananas
And rubber
And this fancy kid, who posed
And this mother, not so happy to see me
Breakfast cooked over a firewood stove tastes pretty good!
