Cheaters Cheating Themselves But Frustrating Others On Duolingo

Duolings is a great app that can actually (no matter what detractors say) help you learn a language. They use gamification to keep people engaged and it mostly works. Lately it seems that people that study Spanish have found a way to cheat and put up hundreds of points on the leader board in just seconds. This demoralizes other users and often the frustration means some people will give up and quit. Duoling does nothing because for every lesson they get ad revenue.. and anyone that's ever heard of Google knows that ad revenue is worth more money than your soul.
