Other than admiring celebrities just for their talents like acting or singing, many of us tend to like those celebs that we can relate to. Who wouldn’t want to relate to Jackie Chan or Ariana Grande, am I right?
I’d say one of the most universally relatable topics is the love people have for dogs. Even Hollywood stars with super-busy lifestyles do not give up on having a dog at home and sharing precious moments spent together on social media.
I scrolled through celebrities’ Instagram and Twitter accounts and found some new adorable pictures of them with their furry best friends. If you’d like to see more dogs with famous owners, check out my previous post.

PETA is a terrible organization masquerading as ethical when they are anything but that. You do not buy an entire shelter and the euthanase all the animals instead of trying to remove them.
Jackie Chan, for example, has two golden retrievers that have been with him for many years. Even though both dogs are getting old now and having health problems, Jackie points out how lucky they are compared to the lonely stray dogs on the streets. Jackie wrote: “In support of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Organization in Asia), I’d like to make an appeal to all pet lovers around the world, try adopting a pet instead of buying commercially bred animals. I hope everyone can be more compassionate towards stray dogs, stray cats, and other stray animals. This year is the year of the dog, and I’d like to take this opportunity with JJ and Jones to send you our well wishes!”

Another celebrity who is a fan of adopting dogs is George Clooney. San Gabriel Valley Humane Society thanked him and his wife in a post: “Millie was adopted by George Clooney and his wife Amal!! Millie, a Bassett hound, now has a new brother named Louie who is also a rescue! Congratulations and thank you for adopting!!”

In the "Rocky" Rocky's dog was Stallone's own dog. I read he had to sell it but when the "Rocky's" screenplay was picked up and he got paid he bought it back right away.

Look, Andy Cohen isn't my favorite, but know the story before you judge. He worked with a behaviorist who ultimately determined it was simply not safe for his baby to be near the dog. He found a good home for the dog and they have visits. What was he supposed to do, endanger the life of his child?

I had to rehome a rescue when I had my son. It was awful :( my dalmatian was deaf and tried to hurt my newborn. I don't know if what you said it true but sometimes this has to be done for safety of a child. It's heart breaking. I spent a large chunk of my life training dogs of every type...but in this case, we didn't have a choice. You can't risk the safety of a baby if the animal responds poorly. I suspect you have never had to make that choice..or you don't have kids

Puppies can be carried outside before they have all their shots so they get used to noises and people but are not at risk of picking up an infection.
