    The Dutch and Brits definitively don't call divng in cold water on New Year's day: polar bear plunge. It is simply called nieuwjaars duik or New Years dive. I can confirm as a Dutch person living in the UK.

    As a Dane I have never heard of International Day of Hygge. We like to hygge every day - and there are no rules on how to hygge. You just do what feels nice for you.
