Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With Irish Animated Short Film “Deadly”
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with our little Irish animated short film “Deadly” that premiers online today.
https://vimeo.com/103986422
The film features the voice of Academy Award winning Irish actress Brenda Fricker and tells the story of Boney, a working stiff in a dead-end job. That is until he has a run-in with a spirited old lady named Bridie.
Music is provided by Neil Byrne and David Monroe of Celtic Thunder.
I wrote and directed this little story because I was a little bored with short films always showing a dark, violent portrayal of death and I wanted to see if we could make a more uplifting, sweet story on the subject.
I hope you enjoy it. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
