A perfectly ordinary day can take a very strange turn when a child decides to experiment with whatever happens to be within reach. A car can suddenly become a washing station, household objects can take on completely unexpected purposes, and innocent curiosity can leave behind some truly baffling scenes.
These are exactly the kinds of moments parents recently shared online, posting photos of the weird, messy and downright hilarious things their children had done. The results range from harmless little experiments to situations that make you wonder what could possibly have been going through their minds.

My 3 Yr Old Insisted On Making Me Breakfast
LOL awww. This is so awkward. Been there. Sometimes if it was edible enough I could eat it and fake that it was good. But then there was times I had to find a way to gently explain how to cook properly. The kitchen and all it's contents was never restricted. She's an adult now, and still experiments with food and tries out recipes. She's gotten to be a much better cook.

I Think My Child Is Broken……
I am a single mom and low income, as such travel is generally too expensive. So when my teen as invited on a tirp abroad with school and he agreed to earn half the money it cost, I was thrilled for him to go and see the world. I only asked that he send me at least one photo every day so I could experience the world vicariously.
These are the 3 he sent me so far:
Food on the air plane
A dog on a leash
A duck
Please note these are everyday average things to see here at home. I think my child is possibly broken….
lol.
UPDATE: thanks for every comment. I learned lots and have a different perspective (actually many). You guys have helped me pass the time and miss him a bit less. I appreciate you all. And, for clarification: I’m not really mad and would never chastise him over his choice of pics, I think they are adorable and funny. I may make a request for a specific type of pic with him in front of a historical or important scenery but mostly just say “cool” or “nice!” In response. I just want him to have fun and be the sweet, kind, smart kid he is already.

Anybody Know How To Break It To A 5yo That He Won’t Be Getting Any Chocolate Today?
We discovered we had mice in the house earlier this week and have now done what we can about it, however not before they infiltrated the Easter egg stash. No shops open today, going to have to break this to my 5 year old who has been up since 6.30am eager for his egg after lunch. I have a few small eggs that I can give him but I just know this is going to break his heart!
My Kid Mopped My Floor With OxiClean
My daughter wanted to earn so spending cash, so I gave her a list of chores. While mopping the floor, she wanted to try something to get a particularly stubborn area where the dogs had tracked in from the patio.
When I got home, I noticed white residue on the floor, and she said she couldn't remember what she used but that we use it "all the time" and she was just about to go over it again.
This morning I figured out why the white spots won't go away no matter how many times she tried. She used the giant Sam's Club tub of OxiClean!
I her defense, it's true we use it all the time - for laundry! 😭 Y'all have a good weekend! Haha

Roblox Will Be Uninstalled
My wife called while I was at work and said it was a little “scratch” on the monitor….after further investigation, I found out my 7YO got pissed at Roblox and threw the controller at it. It really ticks me off how my wife always sugarcoats everything he does..like I cant even discipline him without her getting in the middle of it or shielding him like I’m so total violent monster….it's crazy because I don’t even spank my kids, all it takes is a stern voice and they start crying.
Maybe talk to your wife about actually disciplining the children. Talk her through what you will and will not do to make it clear that they will not be permanently hurt but they will be better people. I was raised on the other end of the spectrum and now I have so much anxiety about tripping up or making mistakes. Just... find a balance.
