One woman named Melissa Popham who works at a pet shop says she would feed the kitty whenever he stopped by their store. Then the feline went missing for 5 days and the poor thing came back looking like something from a horror movie. Popham and her co-worker called a vet who started treating the cat’s huge body abscess and a broken jaw.

Around 2 months later, a miraculous transformation happened. Mister Pickle is all happy and fluffy now. Not only does he have a loving owner, he also has a cat brother from another mother named Ted, and the two enjoy sleeping together.

“Pickle is absolutely a wonderful cat, pet and friend. He is loved so much and I am so pleased to share my life with him,” Popham told Bored Panda.
