Cat lover and photographer Lucy Schultz has been fostering kittens and volunteering at the local shelter for most of her life, but she has never had one to call her own since she was a little girl. Until recently. Lucy and her partner for three years, Steven, became financially stable, so they decided to bring a new life to their family. After spending months in search of “the one,” they have settled for a 5-month-old orange and white male at SoulDog Rescue in Colorado. When they brought the little furball home, they were so happy, they decided to organize a photo shoot. It wasn’t, however, a pet-owner shoot you’d expect!
The couple really got into it. Eventually, Lucy and Steven went through every beat of the traditional birthing photoshoot, going as far as “breastfeeding.” They even wrote a text that’s only appropriate: “On 1/10/18 we welcome our first baby kitten, a neutered male DLH,” Lucy commented the images. “He is 22″ long and weighed 6 pounds 7 oz. He is already eating solid food. Name to be announced. We are so in love.”
Scroll down to check out their kitty ‘birthing’ pictures and let us know if you think it’s the right way to welcome a new feline into your life.

No one who sees this is satire? They are clearly mocking the fact that you "need" to have a human child and that you will eventually want one, the birth pictures is mocking that fact, they want a cat, not a human baby, I find it fun.
THANK YOU!
Seems like you're the one that doesn't get it. Everyone knows this is satire, the fact you don't understand they are trolling is your own problem. Welcome to the internet.
The problem for many is the comparison of a cat to a human baby. Satire or not, that will ruffle some feathers
"ruffle some feathers" is amazingly ironic considering they're complaining about the comparison to pets

Mocking or not, They went waayyyyy too far with this. There's away to be funny and then there's this...
Oh my, he's so hairy for a new born
Hey, most parents hope for an aesthetically pleasing full head of hair on their baby. ;-)
I bet she had heartburn!
This is so funny! Very creative and about 10 million times less creepy than human birth pictures tbh
Think exactly the same. Pregnancy and Birthday photoshoot creeps me out. Ok if you like and you do it for yourself but It's something... too intimate to be shared...
