People meet their doppelgängers in the most surprising places. But don't be a typical 3D normie who thinks they can run into their own copy only in planes, at weddings or musical festivals. If you maintain an open mind, you can stumble upon your sibling from another mother in the two-dimensional world of animation too. Need proof? Just take a look at the 'Me vs. Animated Me' meme.
People all over the Internet are sharing side-by-side pics of themselves and popular animated characters that they believe they resemble and some comparisons are so accurate, it's as if Hollywood ran out of ideas and are using social media accounts as inspiration for their character design.

This one is the best. Shes got no crazy makeup amd just simply looks perfectly like her.
Actually, some well-known cartoon characters were inspired by real people. Take Popeye. The spinach-munching-fist-fighting-sailor man from our childhood is no doubt an ever-famous cartoon character, but he was based on someone from Chester, Illinois (the creator's hometown). Frank “Rocky” Fiegel, a small and wiry, but tough guy. Fiegel smoked a pipe, was toothless, and participated in many fights, just like the character. It is said that he'd been kind to children, although died childlessly and was buried in a lot that's marked by an engraving of the iconic character on the headstone.

Also, most of us are definitely familiar with the near-sighted, gullible and socially-awkward Milhouse Van Houten from The Simpsons. Although Bart's friend was named after US President Nixon (whose middle name was Milhous), the boy's character was based on Josh Saviano's Paul Pfeiffer, whom the show creators aimed to caricature. And dare I say, they did quite a nice job!
So who knows, maybe some of the people in this list really have inspired our beloved cartoon characters. After all, the number of celebrities is finite.

When I watched HP in theatres a bunch of nitwit teens burst out laughing when Dobby died. It ruined what was a very sad and impactful death scene. I'm starting to think it's a thing people do.

Very nice. If I may ask without hurting your feelings... Please do not photoshop or mod your face in pictures. Let people know the real you. I cannot say you are lovely with the enlarged eyes and smoothed complexion. As an artist, I see everything. I NEED to see everything and my lovely... I need to see the soul of who I am looking at. You do not need to hide your heart. Your heart is tender, but resilient. You ARE beautiful just as you were created. You do not need to be someone else. Those filters only hurt you in the end because you end up feeling like people won't accept you for who you are if they already like the filtered you that you have been showing them. It's ok to be ok with who you are. Please don't let the fake-fluencers decide who you are and what you are worth. GOD I wish I could just fly around the world and give this hug in-person to everyone hurting themselves due to the fake stuff.

Undercover Hampster may not see it, but I do. I see it in the shape of your face. Lovely. It isn't your fault that they do not give the characters in these movies more genetically realistic facial structures. Megara would not have looked bad with your nose. She would have been perfectly Grecian. I love your face. You are beautiful.

hahahal... as a closet cosplay (which is what my daughter calls it) you did good. I can see it, but try having the queue a little lower on the back of your head, and square up as much as you can by artfully arranging the hair. Well done. Also, you are quite fit, which adds to the esthetic.

You really look good in your picture, and it's a nice try, but you need to have a little more bugging out of the eyes, and that is not something that is too common in healthy human beings. You see it in some people who have made it big in Holywood due to that look but they are always playing side characters. You, my dude, are a leading man. Very handsome. Don't go fishing in a small pond when you have deep-sea bait.

nice try, but Palestinian warrior has it right. You combed your hair, possibly used water or something else to slick it back and made the revenge face. You are handsome. I am sure you could find someone else you looked more like, but I understand. I kind of identified with this little s**t myself for a while, but it was a phase I was going through... though how a 40+ year old woman can have phases like that anymore is anyone's guess. XD

I have to agree with Violet on this. Please, for the love of all things holy and good... do yourself a favor. Learn how to love yourself the way you are. Puckering up for a pic is not as attractive as the influencers would have you believe. Either Kiss the camera fully, or don't. The almost kissy face just looks sad and overdone. You ARE beautiful in ways you probably don't even know or understand. YOu don't have to try to be anything you are not. Your future life partner is going to love YOU, not a fake. You really don't want to have to try and fake the rest of your life for your life partner because they fell in love with something that wasn't real. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. now you just have to believe it, and learn to love yourself despite the terrible things we all say to ourselves inside our own head.

I worked for a company that sells lashes. We called customers who wanted this size & style of lash wishful butterflies. The thought behind that being they believed that if they put fuzzy caterpillars on their eyes they would turn into a beautiful butterfly. (Must be said like Heimlich the caterpillar on A Bugs Life)

The nice thing about cartoon characters is that they have very limited and smoothed features, so it's easy to see yourself in them. That's one of the reasons I can't stand the life action Disney trend. Suddenly all fun relatable characters are Hollywood stars with artificial perfect features
