Guy Can’t Get His Cat To Sit In The Circle, But Then Discovers Something Frightening About His Cat
They say that cats are demons – so this kitty owner decided to test something for himself. First, he drew a circle to see if his feline would care to sit in it. Nope, no reaction at all. Then he tried the same thing by drawing a square. Still, no response. Finally, the guy drew something that looks similar to a pentagram – and guess what – that did the trick! The next second, the fur ball was already sitting in the middle of it.
Is it a coincidence or proof that the things people say about cats are true? What’s your take on it? Do you feel like cuddling this kitty or running away from it to save your life?

That's a great idea bored panda. Let's encourage people to avoid adopting black cats and to torment them because they are "evil". The poor things get enough grief and have the lowest adoption rates among cats at the shelter because of peoples fears and superstitions about them.

First off, this is a five pointed star and not a pentacle. Might wanna learn your s**t before opening yer gob and spouting it. Secondly, a cat, black, white, or rainbow f*****g coloured has nothing to do with evil. Thirdly, pentacles have nothing to do with evil. Just as much evilness about them as a kitchen knife. Obviously this is a joke, but not a very good one. Some people are really superstitious and believe that black cats are bad luck. As a result, they have a harder time getting adopted and higher chance of getting abused around halloween. Some people may be able to take this lightheartedly but others will use this as an opportunity to worsen the situation. Other animal, such as pit bulls, carry negative stereotypes as well. We should be more carful about how joke about these things. Poor taste in humor bored panda.

Infact this is exactly what is wrong with society, the need for evreything to be politically correct is absolutely ridiculous. First of all, a pentagram is simply a shape. It appears in millions of places and is most commonly used to represent a star. It's been used in numerous different religions for many reasons, mostly as a positive symbol. The inverted pentagram was associated with witchcraft and satanism, but that was only due to the inverting of the symbol to mean the opposite and for the symbol representing the satanic goat head. Even if you want to believe in any symbolism, which is only made up by humans and cats don't give one flying s**t about, take a look at where the cat was and the cat's point of view of the symbol. Yes, he saw it right-side up. In the end, it could have easily been staged and the pictures could just as likely be out of order or the cat was finally just interested enough to see what his owner was up to. Either way, it means absolutely nothing and there's no reason to even try to put into anyone's head that cats, especially black, are linked to anything supernaturally negative.

First of all, yes, this makes me doubt even MORE that "black cats are evil', because PENTAGRAMS are not evil. They are protective symbols of pagans. Representing the 5 elements. 'Earth, air, fire, water, and Spirit'. But this article did convince me that the writer is an ignorant moron.

Pentagrams are NOT evil, signs of the devil, etc. Do some research. They are signs of certain modern PAGAN religions, but they come from the Sumerians & has been used by the Pythagoreans & by early Christians, among others. Sir Gawain in medieval Arthurian tales had a pentagram on his shield. So nope, fail, not what you think it is. The cat obviously is aware of this LOL

Thats amazing but if you look at it propperly it's the opposite a pentagram isn't achally a tool of worshiping the devil, it's the opposite, pentagrams are use to trap deamons and warn them away. The cat choosing to lay there is more could mean its hidings from somthing we cannot see. Offcourse that's simply an educated guess.

Being a protective symbol the cat probably decided it was a good option. Add to that a treat for bait to get him in the star and the high probability that photos were selective. I find this conclusion flawed.

This probably happened because the cat finally figured out what The Human wanted it to do. And nice going, Bored Panda; throw more shade on black cats. As a volunteer at my local animal shelter, I see way too many black cats that have horrible, HORRIBLE things happen to them simply because some people are idiots. Way to continue the trend.

Pentagrams are for protection you numb nuts. The 5 spikes symbolise water, air, earth, fire and the top one is spirit... It protects the one who wears it and the house. The cirkle around the star is also a symbol of protection and to keep magic inside, please note magic NOT black magic. So IF this cat reacted to anything it was a wish to protect it's owner and it's home. And that the cats colour would make it more or less evil is absurd. All cats are d***s in my opinion but not evil... Only humans have that potential.

My friend had a litter and I chose the blackie. I made the right choice. He was the sweetest thing. Never bit, scratched or hissed. We grabbed him anywhere on him when we played. Legs, tail, mouth and he just let us. His claws were never out. Always retracted. One big lump of goo. He only loved the family and no else. These guys get a bad rap and it's just not fair. I miss him very much. :(

I have a problem with this post. I for one am Pagan, I dont need drama just hear me out. That is a picture of a plain ole star nothing more. A pentagram is the same star in a circle with the primary point facing south (down) a pentagram (symbol of good and pure) is the same star again in a circle with the primary point facing north ( to the heavens). I agree that its rather odd that this normal cat is only sitting on the star, but that doesn't confirm nor say that cats are the devil or evil or satanic in any way possible. Just another weird cat in my books.

I've had a few black cats in my life and they weren't evil in truth they were little huggers. They were great at catching mice, one killed 22 mice in 3 days. They loved to cuddle and played fetch with me and my white dog Doodo. People are just plain ridiculous to think such BS about any critters.

This is dumb. First demons do not exist, so trying to link someone's cat to one is equivalent to a mordern day witch hunt. Is this the 1600's? Second we only see photos, for all we know the owner placed his cat in his star. But let's say he didn't for sake of argument. Well the star has a smaller closed off area that would be more attractive to a cat who likes confined spaces. The circle and the square were too big for the cat's interest. This isn't even funny or entertaining, you should consider removing this rediculous story!

pentacles aren't even attached to satanism. They are a pagan symbol reaching back past celts. While satanists in recent years have since adopted the symbol and added a goat skull to it. The symbol itself is not inherently evil. If anything that cat is divine.

A pentagram is not an 'symbol' but a protective one. It's five points represent the four elements of earth, air, fire and water along with the fifth element of spirit. The poor creature was probably trying to protect itself from you. And as an another person posted - associating black cats with ill informed wittering about evil is nothing the right way to go about changing the anti black cat prejudice which prevents them being adopted

First off, that's not a pentagram, it's a star. Pentagrams are not evil, it's people who make it evil. Pentagrams can be a positive thing too. Second, I had a black cat for 21 years and he was the best and most gentle cat you could ever want. Lastly, there was no video showing the cat moving to the star to lay down. You could have put him there yourself.

Okay, I have several things to say: 1) Please notice that people kill black cats just on idiot superstitions. This post said, "Yeah black cats are totally evil let's just kill them!" 2) That looks like a star. Apparently I've been praying to Satan all this time? 3) It isn't evil, it has to do with Pagan culture. If it meant anything, the cat was trying to protect his owner. 4) How do we know that they didn't just PUT him there? 5) If the cat just got bored and sat there for no ACTUAL reason, he just sat there because it was small. Someone didn't do his/her homework. The pentagram is in fact a costellation, considered in ancient times for the most beautiful symbol, that's why in Greek mythology it was the symbol of Aphrodite - the goddess of beauty. Of course when Christianity took over, the church condemned the symbol as satanic, diabolic; the same was implied for the trident of Poseidon.

pentagrams are to ward off evil and far before the church spread rumors about cats during their witch hunt period cats ( especially black cats) were kept to ward off evil spirits and where known to be messengers to more than one god in various religions. If this shows anything is that you might have a haunted house and the cat found the safest place to be.

Actually, having black cats are Good Luck to me. Before I had a cat, I was almost always with bad luck and two almost killed me. After I had one, I never had accidents that could kill me or give me major injuries. I was out for more than 3 months & travel in fairly long miles & near misses of deaths came to me. He's my good luck trinket & I sleep better whenever they are around. I have phobia in darkness & I sleep better with black cats or black dogs with me. I feel safe.

I'm going to try this in a few weeks (when I have some time). If I can get a cat to sit inside any shape, could help with grooming, meds, etc. I'll try different shapes. I can't wait to see what A) my black cat does and B) what my blind cat does! :-)

Black cats and cats in general aren't evil. They get a lot of grief not being adopted as much as dogs are from the shelters. People's fears and superstitions have lead to this cat abuse. The Pentagram isn't an "evil" symbol. It's pre-christian, therefore has nothing to do with the "devil" or "Satan". Actually, the 5 pointed star is good luck. Each point stands for an element ie; Earth, Air, Fire, Water & Spirit (or Soul). Plus, black cats are not bad luck. Educate yourself before attempting to write a glib article.

For centuries the pentagram was only used for good and it's only in recent times that people have put the negative connotations on it. The five points represent the 5 places that Christ was wounded. Now if you want to look at this in a more positive way perhaps the cat went inside the pentagram to try and escape the evil around it.

Thats a pentacle, not a pentagram, there is a difference. If it were inverted, then it would be a pentagram. Pentacles are prominent in Wicca and pagan cultures and are NOT a symbol of evil/the devil, its annoying how many people mix these two symbols up.

You call this proof? Scientific studies are about repeatable results. Getting a cat to lay in the middle of a star one time is nothing more than coincidence. Get the cat to do that EVERY TIME and then you'll have something. Plus a pentagram is a star with a circle around it. That's just a star, not a pentagram.

It looks more like a pentacle. You know, a sign for PROTECTION! You cretins know nothing. Cats, especially black ones, protect us. They are adept at seeing the supernatural, and will warm you if you have a demon. The only reason black cats have a bad rep is because of the people that owned them. They usually practiced practices that brought the demons in the first place. And what happened? The cats started acting strangely, people got possessed, and they'd rather blame the cat than be pegged as a devil worshipper.

Can tell its not legit. Besides my first cat was completely black and he adored me and my mum, I had a black female semi ferral cat that we rescued, and she was lovely too, she liked to show her affection by digging her claws into my legs, but that was her leaving a scent and no different to what many other cats do. We now have a black and white cat, and like our first cat he is absolutely lively. Me and my mum believe that actually black cats are one of the best to adopt.

Technically thats a pentacle, pentagrams are drawn while pentacles are made from diffrent materials such as tape or metal. They also arent always for evil. Im a wiccan and use them for protection and purification charms.

One experiment on one cat does not prove anything. Perhaps it's only this one cat which sits in a pentagram. Somebody needs to do this experiment with other black cats to see if all black cats do this, and then somebody needs to do it with some non-black cats to see if all cats do this.

Obviously this is a joke, but not a very good one. Some people are really superstitious and believe that black cats are bad luck. As a result, they have a harder time getting adopted and higher chance of getting abused around halloween. First of all, a pentagram is simply a shape. It appears in millions of places and is most commonly used to represent a star. It's been used in numerous different religions for many reasons, mostly as a positive symbol. The inverted pentagram was associated with witchcraft and satanism, but that was only due to the inverting of the symbol to mean the opposite and for the symbol representing the satanic goat head. Even if you want to believe in any symbolism, which is only made up by humans and cats don't give one flying s**t about, take a look at where the cat was and the cat's point of view of the symbol. Yes, he saw it right-side up. In the end, it could have easily been staged and the pictures could just as likely be out of order or the cat was finally just interested enough to see what his owner was up to. Either way, it means absolutely nothing and there's no reason to even try to put into anyone's head that cats, especially black, are linked to anything supernaturally negative.

Thats amazing but if you look at it propperly it's the opposite a pentagram isn't achally a tool of worshiping the devil, it's the opposite, pentagrams are use to trap deamons and warn them away. Pentagrams are for protection you numb nuts. The 5 spikes symbolise water, air, earth, fire and the top one is spirit... It protects the one who wears it and the house. The cirkle around the star is also a symbol of protection and to keep magic inside, please note magic NOT black magic. So IF this cat reacted to anything it was a wish to protect it's owner and it's home. And that the cats colour would make it more or less evil is absurd. All cats are d***s in my opinion but not evil... Only humans have that potential.

My friend had a litter and I chose the blackie. I made the right choice. He was the sweetest thing. Never bit, scratched or hissed. We grabbed him anywhere on him when we played. Legs, tail, mouth and he just let us. His claws were never out. Always retracted. One big lump of goo. He only loved the family and no else. These guys get a bad rap and it's just not fair. I miss him very much. :(

I have a problem with this post. I for one am Pagan, I dont need drama just hear me out. That is a picture of a plain ole star nothing more. A pentagram is the same star in a circle with the primary point facing south (down) a pentagram (symbol of good and pure) is the same star again in a circle with the primary point facing north ( to the heavens). I agree that its rather odd that this normal cat is only sitting on the star, but that doesn't confirm nor say that cats are the devil or evil or satanic in any way possible. Just another weird cat in my books.

I've had a few black cats in my life and they weren't evil in truth they were little huggers. They were great at catching mice, one killed 22 mice in 3 days. They loved to cuddle and played fetch with me and my white dog Doodo. People are just plain ridiculous to think such BS about any critters.

This is dumb. First demons do not exist, so trying to link someone's cat to one is equivalent to a mordern day witch hunt. Is this the 1600's? Second we only see photos, for all we know the owner placed his cat in his star. But let's say he didn't for sake of argument. Well the star has a smaller closed off area that would be more attractive to a cat who likes confined spaces. The circle and the square were too big for the cat's interest. This isn't even funny or entertaining, you should consider removing this rediculous story!

pentacles aren't even attached to satanism. They are a pagan symbol reaching back past celts. While satanists in recent years have since adopted the symbol and added a goat skull to it. The symbol itself is not inherently evil. If anything that cat is divine.

Second, I had a black cat for 21 years and he was the best and most gentle cat you could ever want. Lastly, there was no video showing the cat moving to the star to lay down. Someone didn't do his/her homework. The pentagram is in fact a costellation, considered in ancient times for the most beautiful symbol, that's why in Greek mythology it was the symbol of Aphrodite - the goddess of beauty. Of course when Christianity took over, the church condemned the symbol as satanic, diabolic; the same was implied for the trident of Poseidon.

Actually, having black cats are Good Luck to me. Before I had a cat, I was almost always with bad luck and two almost killed me. After I had one, I never had accidents that could kill me or give me major injuries. I was out for more than 3 months & travel in fairly long miles & near misses of deaths came to me. He's my good luck trinket & I sleep better whenever they are around. I have phobia in darkness & I sleep better with black cats or black dogs with me. I feel safe.

The Pentagram isn't an "evil" symbol. It's pre-christian, therefore has nothing to do with the "devil" or "Satan". Actually, the 5 pointed star is good luck. You call this proof? Scientific studies are about repeatable results. Getting a cat to lay in the middle of a star one time is nothing more than coincidence. Just because some dumb cult stole it and say its evil doesnt make it evil. Most religions and cultures associated with it dont believe in hell or the devil so youre jist spreading more falsehoods and potentially ruining the ability for good loving animals to find homes based on their color. I have a beautiful black cat named Olive. She is both amazingly sweet and at times a pain in the butt, but she is far from evil. That shape is a five-pointed star or pentacle, but even if it was a pentagram, it is a myth that the pentagram is a symbol of evil.

It looks more like a pentacle. You know, a sign for PROTECTION! You cretins know nothing. Cats, especially black ones, protect us. They are adept at seeing the supernatural, and will warm you if you have a demon. The only reason black cats have a bad rep is because of the people that owned them. They usually practiced practices that brought the demons in the first place. And what happened? The cats started acting strangely, people got possessed, and they'd rather blame the cat than be pegged as a devil worshipper.

Can tell its not legit. Besides my first cat was completely black and he adored me and my mum, I had a black female semi ferral cat that we rescued, and she was lovely too, she liked to show her affection by digging her claws into my legs, but that was her leaving a scent and no different to what many other cats do. We now have a black and white cat, and like our first cat he is absolutely lively. Me and my mum believe that actually black cats are one of the best to adopt.

Shame on you! I have adopted a total of 4 cats in my life and each time they were black! Black cats wonderful intelligent and loyal. I will always adopt black cats before any other color! These poor animals have enough of a bad reputation because of people's ignorance! Don't perpetuate this myth! This is why black cats are abused and tortured especially around Halloween. 😩 👎 😾

A pentagram includes a circle around the star, doesn't it? This is simply a star that the cat is sitting in. She is acknowledging that, yes, she is magnificent and star worthy. That is all. Technically thats a pentacle, pentagrams are drawn while pentacles are made from diffrent materials such as tape or metal. They also arent always for evil. Im a wiccan and use them for protection and purification charms.

Maybe its a sign the cat thought it was preventing evil from coming in through the shape? Or maybe it will turn good luck if it sits in it. Maybe the cat wants to be a "star"? Or to finish the spell of protection maybe the cat knew they had to sit in it for the spell to work? This is in poor taste though thinking a black cat in connected to evil just because it is black. One experiment on one cat does not prove anything. Perhaps it's only this one cat which sits in a pentagram. Somebody needs to do this experiment with other black cats to see if all black cats do this, and then somebody needs to do it with some non-black cats to see if all cats do this.
