well yeah, no... i disagree if it is a busy day and my kids, my Grandma and my Husband etc. do need their needs met by me, and 15 conversations are going of on my phone, than yes i am actually to busy to respond. If it is important please call, if not there can be a gap until an answer... That is not meant to hurt you, just you have to distribute my resources.

Many people care about how difficult your life is. There's just only so much any of them can do about it, and only so much energy they can invest in your pain before it become detrimental to them. They have to take care of themselves, too.

This belief is b******t and a product of our current narcissistic driven society. Humans didn't evolve not giving a f**k about anyone. We got to where we are precisely by the opposite attitude: empathy. This is also a very vogue american attitude by the way which in no way represents humanity. Try saying that sentence in most places in Asia, Africa or even Europe and see how you are received.

I disagree. I care very much for those in my life who are going through hard times, and they feel the same about me. This is one bitter potato.
This kind of belief is a consequence of today's narcissistic world and should be changed. Humans didn't evolve not giving a f**k about eachother. They evolved thanks to precisely the opposite: empathy. Not giving a f**k about other people creates a horrible violent world. There is no reason things have to be that way. It's also a very american attitude by the way. Come and say that in most countries in Europe and see how you are received.

I think this one referes to people who are always whining about their life. Everybody's lives are difficult. But if you have food, clothes and a place to live (even if you are renting), you are probably ok.
I have only one person in my life that has that power. My brother, we are very close. Everybody else can f**k off.
Forgive someone for your own sake, not for theirs. The only one really hurt when you hold a grudge is you. You're either missing out on a good relationship because of ego, or you're wasting your time thinking of someone who doesn't give a s**t about you.
