People On This Group Are Sharing The Most Beautiful Rooms They Can Find, And Here Are The 30 Best Ones
If you're looking for inspiration on how to redecorate or are a sucker for good interior design, you're going to love this subreddit. Hell, you'll probably enjoy it even if you're just bored and randomly scrolling through the Internet.
The premise is simple: it collects memorable, high-quality images of rooms. The rooms, however, are anything but. From a clocktower in Brooklyn to a secluded cabin in the forest, they utilize everything the place to offer, creating an enthralling atmosphere you'd really like to soak in. As in, you wouldn't just visit these rooms, you'd gladly return to them time and time again. Continue scrolling and check out what I mean for yourself.

How is this not higher?! I love the balance between the neutral color palette and the very warm, plush, inviting contours of the seating. The color palette lets that spectacular view do the talking. But it would feel cold if the lines were angular; squishy-looking couches are just the thing here. I love this design.

Incredible Penthouse Overlooking Downtown Beirut, Lebanon
Wolfstar 5 years ago (edited)
@Anna McHugh, you wouldn't be saying 'lol' if you were there. The explosion killed at least 200 people and injured 5,000 more. I'm talking about women, men, children. Civilians, nurses, and firefighters were killed. One firefighter was about to be married. She was killed when she ran to fight the fires. Many citizens said that the people near the site of the blast were reduced to charcoal. C h a r c o a l. This explosion ruined the "Paris of the Middle East." It became a symbol of the corruption in the Lebanese government. You wouldn't be saying 'lol' if you were there. Even the photos are gut-wrenching. There were photos of a wrecked hospital. Blood was splashed onto the walls. There was a photo of a sailor who survived the blast. His legs were reduced to shreds. So many lives were lost in the explosion. And you have the audacity to say 'lol?'

I find that huge windows with a view over a snowy, grey scenery make me feel cold and unsafe, while high ceilings stress me out. Those features are best reserved to warm, sunny countries. IMO: Sunny place = light, airy, open plan, cool colours, lots of glass, tiling etc... Colder place= cosy, warm colours, no huge windows, lots of wood, soft materials etc...
