The Very Present Past Of My “Berlinifrankfurt” Trip

In this post I am sharing our journey of experiencing Germany’s spirit-lifting street art, soul-stirring Christmas, big-city architecture and half-timbered houses. All of these are essential parts of our “Berlinifrankfurt” journey which surely gave Don CAMRO (my camera) a splendid workout!

Both Berlin and Frankfurt are the cities where street art unfolds its precious stories booming louder than the road signs. Interestingly, you could still feel the distinctive “smell” of rebellion through the disseminated street messages. I think removing a good portion of saturation and leaving only a tiny bit of it, reveals the emotional content of each photo projecting the very present past.

I started photography in September 2016 while doing my master's degree and that was the first time I actually bought a proper camera. (My academic background has nothing to do with photography, although I do manage to combine both every once in a while).

Now that it's been few years since I am with my Don CAMRO (yes, my camera has a name) I freeze the moments and enjoy every minute of it.
