He brought attention to her gorgeous eyes and beautiful bone structure.
The first one is such a bad quality picture, it almost looks like a mugshot
Unfortunately, without her glases on, she might not be able to see herself.... 😂
I love how the hair stylist is also a plastic surgeon. Profoundly changing the shape of a nose is serious hairstylist skill. Just look at it. I hope I'm never the innocent guy in the photo-array that is being scanned for the criminal by someone that buys this.
It is done with make up and contour look up youtube videos
Load More Replies...Lol. I thought the pic on the left was a mugshot. Haha! I scrolled a little too fast.
The thing is, how often do we get the opportunity to wear a sparkly evening dress? It would be better to show her in the same outfit. Then it's apples to apples.
I like her hair but other than that i think she looks better in the before pic
Zhuk was born in Brest, in Belarus. Even though none of his family members were in the beauty industry, he decided that his future lay there and began pursuing his dreams wholeheartedly. When he was just 18, he officially became a hairdresser and spent the next 5 years building up his experience in Brest.
However, he felt like he was stagnating. That’s why he decided to shake up his life. Zhuk moved to Moscow. He was so dead-set to improve his skills that he sold his car just so he could set his roots down in the Russian capital.
I don't know why she had to be blonde, her natural hair style is beautiful !!!
No, susan, we can't, we are completely blind and helpless if you steal our glasses.
Load More Replies...Anyone remember the Glamor Shots at the malls...? I'm having a flashback.
I'd prefer to see the "after" incorporating their eyeglasses. I can't wear contacts and wouldn't be able to clearly see how I looked without mine!
Doesn’t even look like the same person. Amazing what a simple makeover can do
I'm sorry but if a woman wants to wear make up and get her hair done, WTF is wrong with that? Stop shaming use for wanting to feel good about ourselves.
Huh. I know those particular eyeshadow colors are trending right now, but I kinda think the makeup artist did her dirty here. Looking at the 'before' pic, it's easy to see that she is clearly gorgeous, and I was expecting the 'after' to be knock-you-out-STUNNING. I mean, she's still beautiful, of course, but I think different eye makeup would have taken it to another level.
He went all-out in Moscow, and at one point he was even working three jobs as a hairdresser during the economic crash of 2008, according to 24smi.org. That’s when he began to fully live his philosophy of living to the max.
Now that’s the sort of discipline and energy that gets you right on the path of success. And that’s exactly what happened to Zhuk who rose to great heights in the beauty industry.
I like this one. Not that much difference, and really highlights her pretty features that she already has
the main take away from all these pix is that the "after" photo shows the woman smiling.. It make anyone smile to see themselves looking nice.
Well I am sure they are told not to smile in the before pic....they want it to be as dramatic as possible.
Load More Replies...You do know no one held these women down to do these makeovers. She looks great!
It looks like they contoured it. Amazing what a skilled makeup artist can do!!!
Load More Replies...I like this one. The person is still recognizable and the makeup doesn't look like a ton of putty.
Eventually, he opened up Zhuk.Studio and his very own spa, La Lubie. He’s won numerous awards for his skills and has hosted a handful of TV shows focused on beauty transformations.
Zhuk has extensive knowledge of the TV industry and was even a model at one point. He currently lives together with his wife, model Anastasia Belochkina, whom he married in 2019. They have a child together. Other than that, Zhuk keeps his private life private.
I always feel better when I do my hair and make up. It puts a smile on MY face and makes me want to dress better and maybe even leave the house. This is empowering! When I was widowed I didn't want to get out of bed but with hair and make up and a few complements it sure made me feel like life might be worth living.
This isn’t just makeup this is also -clean bloody nose -hairdye -better lighting and camera -smile -fixed hairline Don’t get me wrong, it’s amazing, but you can’t just go around saying “just makeup will help you!” You’re beautiful the way you are, unless you feel the need to do make up. Just do what makes you happy and don’t always believe others
another one where you can tell the person is actually attractive already
They didn't, it's just stretched because she's smiling.
Load More Replies...Looks like the plain sister of the gorgeous woman. The right makeup is magical
This is more than just make-up and hairstyle. The jawline, noses, and lips are different...
1. She's smiling. 2. Some make-up techniques can make lips appear different. 3. Her nose is probably contoured. I might be wrong, but that's what I think.
Load More Replies...I don't understand the comments that are saying that this post is telling women that they aren't good enough. Yes, putting on a sh*t load of makeup and telling people that they need to look like that is not okay, but have you considered what these women felt like after their makeover? Beauty is not just about looks, it's also a way to feel more confident and empower yourself. Look, she looks a lot happier in the after pic. Maybe it's the lighting, but who knows? If putting on some makeup makes the woman happy, then who are you to deprive her of that joy?
They all look happier afterwards. That’s all that should matter
Load More Replies...Only problem is that few of us can reproduce the make-up magic :P
Her bangs look a little too short to be swept to the side, how’d they do that?
I wish they'd show them smiling in the before photos too, for a true comparison.
For the one complaining...see how much happier she looks? That’s what this is about. Not all women are experts in hair and makeup.
She looks good in the first pic, I don't know why she got a makeover, but it's her choice not mine.
Wow so good even the eye colour changed and her bangs grew/disappeared(Idk)and her nose shape changed too! :O
1. Lighting. 2. They parted her hair to the side. 3. Nose contouring.
Load More Replies...The change in her hair and face color brought out her lovely blue eyes. That takes skill and training to recognize
Photoshop again. Chin is totally different. nose & maybe jawline too. That part could be great make-up & lighting, I guess.
Why do women shave their eyebrows and draw them in like the first pis? Demi lovato does it too. Drives me nuts
I don't know if it's me, but she looks kinda sad in these pictures. Something in the eyes.
She looks several years younger. Her NEW look hides that her eyelids tend to droop.
Definitely, she look more realistic, but she still looks pretty in the after
Load More Replies...She's beautiful either way... but I do like the before pic a bit better.
The person's head in the red heart dress is not the same person as in the black T Shirt. This is a photo shopped deal
I can not see how this is even the same person look at the mouth the width of the mouth and of the lips is not at all the same in both pics! ??
I liked her better before, she was original and has a naturally pretty face. The after made her look like an ordinary tv weather girl or something.
If you liked her before, then that's fine. But maybe she likes her after look. If people are going to say that they liked a girl before her makeover, then that's basically the same as telling the girl she looks better with make-up on. If she likes how she looks, then you shouldn't tell her to go back to the way she was before.
Load More Replies...As much as I like tats all I can look at is her her tattoo and honestly I find that distracting. It takes away from her. It isn't my favorite but to each their own.
Both lovely but the difference is a more suitable image for evening dressy occasions.
i mean she could go get the thing that makes it at least kind of not there anymore, but also it was her choice to get it soo
Load More Replies...they might be going to do news or something like that but not all of them have mics
Load More Replies...The stylist did not do as much to this lady as was done to the others.
This is all done with makeup (lots of shading) and hair change. And, what a great job.
You can do miracles with makeup: downplay some features with dark shading and emphasize others with eraser or lighteners. It will make the person's face look different, but that's the point, isn't it?
Load More Replies...She looks fine Sandra, BP is a place of quenching boredom, not body shaming.
I have the same shape of jaw . . . when clenched, as in the first photo, the squareness is emphasized. Relaxed produces the jaw-line apparent in the second photo.
Load More Replies...Having hair down can sometimes make a neck look small. When I have my hair up, my neck looks like a fricking tree trunk, but when I put it down, the volume of my hair makes my neck look smaller. I could be wrong, though.
Load More Replies...This is another photoshopped picture. They are not the same person
Her hair is gorgeous in ash blonde. The new shade of makeup is much better. And now we can appreciate how lovely her eyes are.
If she would have been smiling in the first, I would like the natural her better
Nothing is wrong, but a woman has a right to want to change her hairstyle once in a while, this is why people dye their hair. It doesn't mean something was wrong, it just means they want something new.
Load More Replies...wow.. I never realized dying your hair could completely change how you look!! (my point is she's beautiful in either picture- but I think when her hair was dyed she looked... younger. but the first one looks younger too!)
Yes, I have to agree. The Before is better (never thought I would say that!).
Why didn't he do anything with her eyebrows - and a slightly smoky eye would help make her eyes larger...
I liked her before hair better. But she looks good in the after picture too.
Funny how people see things differently - for me the hair didn't go with her skin tone in the before. Though it is hard to be sure as the photos can be produced with different colour saturation.
Load More Replies...Ok i know this will get downvotes but who replaced the girl with the doped up rabbit?
Did you ever notice how there are less comments near the end of Bored Panda articles?
yes because the most noticed pics with the most upvotes are at the top, so its not that the bottom ones get less attention, theyre at the bottom BECAUSE they get less attention
Load More Replies...a makeover makes you whiter? I dunno maybe it's just the lighting...
I guess they styled them with a flattening iron or just hairdryer and cemented them with hairspray. I believe it works only for the photoshoot and falls appar as soon as you get out :)
Load More Replies...the first one looks like Hailee Steinfeld in the first one. why would you change that?
She is beautiful in both but I like the volume to her hair in the transformation :)
How comes within two days we see a "embrace your natural grey hair" and yet another "stylist puts so much makeup on unconfident women that they cannot recognize themselves but meet questionable beauty standards" post?
I agree that it's hypocritical for bp to post two contradicting posts like this, but idk if every woman who wants to get glammed up just once has "low confidence" or is "trying to fit a beauty standard." For all we know, they could just be doing this purely for the fun of it, and they just want to wear something crazy for a day. I'm tired of people assuming that anyone who wants to dress up and put on some makeup once in a while is insecure and is pushing unrealistic beauty standards. Some people just like to try out a different look.
Load More Replies...Plus professional makeup, professional lighting, professional photographers...
Not to mention take the 'before' photos under fluorescent lights with a cellphone camera to make sure you're super shiny and flat looking.
Load More Replies...Hair stylist: "Ok, let me slightly change your hair...and here is tons of make-up, no one will recognize you again, but at least you look artificial."
these women aren't being held hostage or anything though- if they want to look this way then why criticize them? yeah, I hate how this is defined as "beautiful" throughout society too, but if these women are happier and feel more like themselves with makeup then nobody should impose on that.
Load More Replies...Pure garbage. Sorry there's no other way to say it. Take a purposely crappy photo of an unsmiling person on what's often a darker background for the first pic, then juxtapose that with a smiling person on a brighter background and then photoshop it and call it a comparison? How trash like this gets published is beyond me. It's dishonest.
Nothing more than glamour shots...great for a special occasion if the woman liked the look...but nothing more than a hair colour, bit of make up and some lighting...that is the standard going out look....
The “Power of a good stylist “??? More like the Power of Photoshop. 🙄. Seriously all these women had their “before “ taken looking like they just got out of bed Even so they were pretty enough before anything was done to them. Anyway why is only WOMEN in these kind of posts? Why not men?? And why women who are slim and pretty anyway? Why not women of all different sizes or wearing glasses??
