271Kviews
For some people, it’s a childhood classic, for others—a fantastic new experience. And now that summer’s just around the corner, what better time to take a look at the wonder that is a magic bean tent than now? If you are looking for a DIY project that you can whip up in your garden with minimal requirements and materials, this one might be just right for you.
All you need is some poles, twine or string, soil, pole bean seeds, and/or annual climbing flower seeds. You don’t even need to be a particularly experienced green thumb for this garden DIY project—just have fun and watch your little project grow (literally)!
This kids’ tent is just the right answer to all parents who want something fun and engaging for their kids. Not only can they help out with making a tent, you can also teach them how to attend to the growing plants. And in the end? They can enjoy the final result by finding respite in their own magic garden.
So scroll down, check out different bean tents that people have constructed, and perhaps draw some inspiration for your own garden! And hey, maybe try adding some other fast-growing plants or flowers to the mix? Experiment, have fun!

Love it! Love it! Love it! 😍😍😍 I’ll bring the string or LED lights and drinks. You bring yourself and a good book. Let’s read side by side.
I'd love that
mmmm, just make sure nothing blows a fuse!
How long does it take to grow one of these?
Depends where you live. About 3 months in my neck of the woods (zone 2, Canadian prairies).
Beans should be ready for harvest by the end of summer, so under two months. Same with morning glories, etc.
Hmm...I don't have any kids. Guess I need to make one of these for myself ;)
