Banksy Inspired My 10-Year Old Daughter To Create Family-Friendly Street Art
32Kviews
Our family watched Banksy’s “Exit Through the Giftshop” together, and my 10-year-old daughter adamantly declared she wanted to be a street artist. I didn’t dig the idea of vandalism, but I also didn’t want to squash her excitement and creativity. So I picked up some rocks and together the family painted them with beastly faces and spread them around town.
We had so much fun, we did it again a few months later with painted sticks and then a third time with painted leaves.

This is one of the most delightful illustrated stories I've seen on BP! I loved "Exit Through the Giftshop," too. You should send your story, along with these photos, to Banksy in London -- they'll make him proud!

This moment when you know that parenting was done right :)
Wow, this is a great idea, your daughter is going to be an amazing artist someday.
