50 Unbelievable Balloon Animals By Japanese Artist Masayoshi Matsumoto
Everyone would love Japanese artist Masayoshi Matsumoto at their birthday party. This remarkable balloon twisting artist has already made a name for himself for using such unusual art medium, but now he's back with even more incredibly intricate insects and balloon animals.
"I started working with this art form seven years ago, I was really inspired by wildlife pictures and wanted to see if I could create realistic animals of my own," Matsumoto told Metro. His cool artworks take the self-taught artist a minimum of two hours to complete, and more complex projects last up to six.
All of his work becomes even more stunning when you realize that Matsumoto doesn't use markers, stickers, or any other supplementary material only colorful balloons. His multi-colored cool animal kingdom is a truly unique art.

Anyone who remembers to create a skunk is a winner in my books! - I'm biased, I have had pet skunks for 7 years! 189711_101...5371c5.jpg

I can figure out how to do most of Matsumoto's work (even if I can't execute it nearly as beautifully), but these wings right hear are so gorgeously done and I can't begin to fathom the weave he used...

Long gone are the days of just twisting into a section. This IS art :) Love them, beautifully done.

I up-voted this because the work is so impressive. But I couldn't finish viewing. I was creeped out by the bugs.

Every one of these is awesome. But something fundamentally bothers me about them - they're like sand castles - temporary. I hate knowing art is fleeting.
