Photo ballet in the most beautiful places in the world is actually a combination of three arts in one: dance, photography and nature or architecture. In my opinion, this combination further enhances the enjoyment and feelings that can be obtained from the frame. Try playing the music for every frame that pops into your head - and write it down in the comments so everyone can feel what you felt.

The magic of a stopped moment is the frozen movements of the ballet, the glazed moment of the existence of reality is the very frame that is unique.

Feel it with me. I love ballet. I enjoy traveling. And I love taking pictures. So every frame is the pinnacle of my bliss.

I'm simply.. spellbound.. This is so beautiful..

I choose locations for ballet shoots in the same way as for any other shoot: I choose places that inspire me, touch my soul. There are certain difficulties for shooting photos of ballet dancers: as you know, they dance in special shoes, pointe shoes, and in order for them to perform their ballet steps, the surface must be perfect, even, and with good grip on the shoes. Any bumps or slips are an instant injury to the artist.

Not usually a fan of this angle, but I quite like it here. I love all the blue dead space she's reaching into. Such a vast feeling. Spell bounding. And of course the cotton candy colors are sublime!

    Beautiful either way

When you shoot a ballet, you unwittingly become a participant in the performance. But it does not take place among the scenery in the theater, but in a real beautiful place: under the stars, at dawn on the mirror surface of the lake. No human invention compares to nature, so it always looks more amazing than just going to the theater.

To enhance the impression of the picture, I always choose outfits that are suitable for the place where I shoot. And poses that create rhythm with natural landmarks, like the shape of a rock and so on.

Oh my god, the colors and symmetrical balance in this! But how did you get the dress to flow up like that? I need to know your method!!!!

The most important advice for beginners is to try. Only experience can give you what you lack. Write to ballet dancers, many of them will agree to work with you, and never be afraid of refusals.

Yes, it is! And if the ground is damp, they would soften very quickly. Depending on how long the shoot took, she might have got through a few pairs of shoes!

Ah, that’s a little too young :< ballerinas can’t wear pointe shoes until they’re at least 11-12, but it’s safer to wait until 12-13, because children’s bones in the feet aren’t strong or grown enough to support their weight like that

This is a unique take. Kinda cool. The angle looks a little odd though. Like she'll have a hard time landing. Did you take her photo on the basketball court, or did you edit her in. I think a basketball court would be quite the cool, unique place to do a whole pointe shoot.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was edited too. Cuz her front foot looks almost cut off and the basketball isn't round. Maybe it's just me, but it looks slightly onlong.

I'm so glad that even professional dancers have the same problem I did, where I would point my toes, and my arches would be fine, but the point wouldn't go the whole way to my toes. It's an anatomy thing.
