Rescuers Save Baby Lion Who Had His Legs Broken To Take Pictures With Tourists

Recently a sad story about a little lion surfaced on the internet. This adorable lion cub was taken away from his mother when he was only a few months old. He was taken away to be used as a tourist attraction. The horrible people that stole him broke his leg and wounded his spine so that he wouldn’t be able to run away or struggle when tourists took pictures with him. After saving the wounded lion cub, rescuers brought him straight to the vets to have surgery, which, thankfully, was successful. The saviors named the lion Simba.

This horrific crime angered many people, including the president of Russia—Vladimir Putin—who, according to reports, personally ordered a criminal investigation into the matter.
The poor lion was tied up in a barn, forced to take pictures with tourists. It’s reported that he was also tortured and beaten. He was on the brink of death, with injuries on his legs, spine, and many other places. However, thanks to good people and amazing doctors, Simba is alive and well today, learning to trust humans again.

I do use vulgar language. Was in fact raised by a woman who could make sailors cry. I think I came up with a few reading this that would have even made her blush and send me to my room. The exact same thing is done to the chicken, pigs and cows that end up in our plates.
I don't like to eat animals and a big part of the reason is how they are treated. I'm not against mom and pop cruelty free farms though. It's not possible to make the whole world vegetarian, but I think it is realistic to ensure the animals have happy lives and no fear and humanely killed. I feel kinda like a hypocrite even typing that last part- I really don't want any animals killed at all- but at the very least since people are going to keep eating other intelligent beings, there is a more decent way to do it.
There aren't thousands of animals experiencing cruelty all over world, there are billions upon the billions of them. Farm animals are the most abused, heinously tortured sentient beings, they are suffering immensely in factory farms, and die in unimaginable pain and agony at slaughterhouses so "people' could eat more than million animals per hour and eat tons of cheese and eggs. Yes, "people" are horrific evil murderers; having someone else to do murders for you does not make you less guilty - just the opposite.
