This Twitter Page Collects The Most Badass Interiors And Here Are 30 Of The Best Ones
For many, interior design starts (and ends) with a newly bought IKEA rug. Others would go to greater lengths and repaint their walls. The minority would even add a subtle touch with some cool furniture.
But this Twitter account titled “Interior Porn” is taking it to a whole new level. Having collected some of the most jaw-dropping home interior designs out there, it gives the designers inside us a feast for our eyes.
From the kitchen interior that’s leaving us speechless to a garden makeover that gives us hope, these are some of the best interiors and space transformations the world has to offer.

How could you not love a view like that, I would be in heaven.
Yeah, a sink just front of a window.... so easy to keep it clean...
Load More Replies...Don't lie. This is the kitchen of the grand dining room of a luxury starcruiser.
Is this on Lake Como? This looks vaguely familiar from a magazine like Condé Nast Traveler which has shown many homes on that lake.
Hm...this looks like it is photoshopped. Anyone has a source of this being a real thing?
I just had a read up and it is not real, it’s just a design.
Load More Replies...And then they pushed too far in the mountain during construction and the giant mouth just. shuts.
then came the muffled screaming and the squished human remains
Load More Replies...Yep, listening to the rain pelting against the rock 60 feet above you, is always so soothing.
if it were real I'll bet there'd be a supervillain living in it already
I think it would be impossible to build in that space of chunked out mountain. Is that supposed to be a human on the very edge? Doesn't look like the right perspective.
In order to find out more about the creator behind the “Interior Porn” Twitter account, which collects some of the most unique and luxurious interiors out there, Bored Panda reached out to the man behind it, who goes by the name Iggy.
Iggy told us that the idea to create “Interior Porn” came while taking to a friend, as he realized that “interior started to become my addiction.” He then created a Twitter page with a mission “to gain the audience's attention for the love of interior and to create joy over the content.”
The interior enthusiast continued: “As we all know, the pandemic has been a very chaotic moment for many, and "Interior Porn" was simply a creation to help others be distracted from the chaos and engage with viral interior posts every day.”
Iggy is hopeful that in the future, “Interior Porn” will help to create “a charity that provides support for children in need of very basic facilities and also to help children in relation to education.”
Hard to believe it's the same terrace! Impressive use of space. Brick wall is only detail that still looks the same. Higher wall height, new drain placement, more distance beyond door, foliage beyond wall overgrown, and other details seem so different. Floor tiles also seem smaller.
If you look closely at the second photo, you can see they added panes of glass, so it's not open to the elements at all.
Load More Replies...That's awesome! They made it looks bigger & more beautiful at the same time
I do as well ! And I probably also need €1.000.000.000,- in my account to make it happen.
I had to convert euros to dollars to realize what you meant XD
Load More Replies...imagine all the lovely roomates you get just through that... (talking about all the bugs and other creepy crawlers)
I didn't notice until I read your comment :D and even after it I had to search for it
Load More Replies...I have been there. It is amazing as long as you don't venture outside of the resort.
My friend went to bora bora once. Wow, its amazing
That looks dreamy. I wish I could escape to their right now.
“What fits the style of the page Interior Porn is slick, stylish, and modern interior. I feel like this style is highly favorable as many people from the more modern era prefer modern interior.”
Having said that, Iggy assured us that traditional interior is something most people also like, but “Interior Porn” is mostly about modern, slick homes.
When asked what his own favorite interior is, Iggy said it’s super difficult, but named this penthouse interior as one of his favorites. “It’s very self-explanatory. Slick, stylish, with a view. Nothing could ever beat this.”
I have always wanted a little spot like that! it looks soooo relaxing.
These gardens with the pool are called "Riads" and they are so beautiful.
it overlooks the Sydney harbour, so it must be MEGA bucks
Load More Replies...*takes out bank account* well...it'll be QUITE a while before I can buy that
Iggy said that after doing some research, he understood that many people do like traditional architecture, exposed walls, etc. “Traditional architecture comes with so much history, it’s unbelievably amazing to read.”
Meanwhile, “modern architecture and interior isn’t just the only thing people like anymore and I think it’s very interesting.” He said this is something he will be adding to his “Interior Porn” page in the future too.
The only one I like is the one with the fireplace. And that would be nice without the sunken feature. Somr of the others look like a padded cell for the rich and insane.
They look a bit hard to clean... like many things from the 1970s. Ew.
Load More Replies...Thinking the same. Didn't like them then and don't like them now. Hard to clean and a tripping hazard at times.
Load More Replies...I hate the 2nd one . Blocking the view and unnecessary. I like 1st and last, u could just roll into them like a panda
Funny how back in the day sunken living rooms were all the rage. Then they went out of style & everyone filled their sunken living rooms in. Now they're back in style lol. Just like so many clothing styles too. They always come back
I've had one... You always trip when you're drunk...
Load More Replies...So ... how does having the living room sunken add to the functionality of this room? Answer: It doesn't. I object to design "features" that serve no purpose other than to be "different".
Skylight, brigs, so they should get some vines and maybe some accents for the furniture.
Now I have to scrap my life's dream to move to London and Google how much it costs to get a house like that in the Maldives
This is a resort. If you’ve got a bazillion dollars you might be able to live there. The locals don’t live anything like this.
Load More Replies...Indian Ocean. People in Maldives can't afford this kind of life.
Load More Replies...What do they do during storms with their homes built directly over the ocean like that?!?
Looks more like a kids playhouse to me.
Load More Replies...I really like the arch in the before picture. Too bad they didn't integrate it in the makeover
Yeah, and the sink was much better in the before picture.
Load More Replies...Ooh imagine if they had a plant wall too. Plus I would rather it be an open shower, since there’s no curtain
I like both, I like the classic, clean (LOL) look of the first one, but the modern, fresh (I'm hilarious today) look of the second one.
Load More Replies...It looks great on the picture, but imagining the sun waking me up at 4 in the morning, and cleaning a glass roof makes it a bit less apealing :D
Imagine the state of the roof after rain and wind. But I guess with a house like that you don't worry about paying the cleaning service.
Load More Replies...I'd never be able to sleep in there. It'd be like being on display in a fish bowl
If I moved in, the place would be covered in dog hair in about an hour.
Load More Replies...this is currently Hong Kong tiny apartment design, good for Hobbit
Something funny with this picture set. Is this a before and after, or did the stairs magically appear to shove the door and closet to the other side of each floor? And the downstairs window went ... where?
Great space. But am really not liking this brown/ grey/ black combo. Especially the shiney grey faux marble tiles....
Seems it's like a hotel lodge or cottage so it doesn't seem like a long run stay. It would be killer for a week.
Load More Replies...Lovely architecture, but the interior design is more fitting for a funeral parlour.
I would love to visit during the day,.....but spend the night?...are you kidding !! Below the bed is the perfect hiding place for Wolves..
Not enough grass, not enough plants. It is not a garden anymore. But each to its own.
Load More Replies...That's not real grass. Some poeple seem to hate real plants.
Load More Replies...The placement of the toilet paper holder looks like a problem. It's too close.
That’s the first thing I noticed. Lol. And it’s attached to the wall behind you so you have to turn around and lean away to grab some paper while sitting.
Load More Replies...That's how your spine will get from trying to reach the toilet paper. See moon bug's comment.
Load More Replies...Look at that ladder shelf behind the door - 'secured' with a rope. One bump from the door and half of the stuff is on the floor. The toilet paper would be more discrete as well as cleaner and dryer recessed into the side of the cabinet. I'm sure that's a high end toilet scrubber - still don't want to see it, get clever and hide it but keep it nearby. The light bar? Dangerous? One careless arm or towel and you've got glass everywhere.
Is it a loft apartment or is it just a two story house with a second floor
It looks fabulous, but knowing me, I wouldn't be able to keep it that way.
Nature; a landscape burned to a cinder some months ago; black, charcoal, gray. I can "smell" the smoke.
If i woke up here, i'd probably panic about how i got there in the first place, and where am and why. :D
Imagine having the entire city gazing back into YOUR windows all day ... every day.
i'd wonder if i was in one of those "nerd swaps bodies with rich girl" movies and then enjoy the house
I agree, but it’s a matter of opinion. Some people like how clean it looks, the bathroom is the main problem the rest I think is pretty good
Load More Replies...Yep it looks much nicer outside than it does inside!
Load More Replies...A lovely exterior like that has color. Keep the floors, replace the bathroom with black and white marble. Go and get velvet and antique furniture, gilt if you can afford it. Repaint the walls with mauve, slate grey if you want paintings around, lots of little poufs and ottomans. The head board can stay, but the rest must go. Then get a chez lounge, blue or black, and several plants, and a lovely Victorian desk. Rip out the lighting in every room and get some ceiling lighting that doesn’t look like it’s made on Etsy. The two rooms to the left and right look fine, but get oil paintings and heirlooms to make the rooms better. You’re welcome dear, I don’t blame you for wanting clean and cold, but the world is very bleak and empty, so we must brighten up our days with a little madness
The outside is charming, but the inside is too white/bright. Plants would be a beautiful addition.
Herringbone floor tile in the bathroom, marble hall tile with a solid inlayand herringbone or parque wood floors off of the hall, woodwork details and wainscoting. Very classy. Can't stand the pintuck ottoman and the pintuck headboard. Absolutely hate the bedroom carpet. Can do without the bottom brass on the bathroom lights. I like the outside.
Friends of mine have this but it only lasted less than a decade after they bought it due to rising sea levels/erosion of their seawall and then insult to injury, red tide, where they couldn't even open the windows for 14 months due to the toxic air.
I agree, I love black but that is just too much. I love natural light so disappointed in not seeing any.
Load More Replies...Kitchen like this is not for people who knows how to cook. Only those can't cook want a kitchen like this to look at, not really a practical one
yep. In fact, in south Africa, almost the entire time it's been a country, the 10% colonists (AKA white power hungry people) have always had much more money than the indigenous peoples.
Load More Replies...Also, I read in the newspaper about people who buy stuff like this, then a huge rainstorm hits. Go buy a big Victorian house, knock down a wall and smarten up the downstairs and you have a nice home for the winter, then you can buy another one for the summer.
Great view, yes. But why does the bed have 9 pillows? So you can sleep upright and see the view better? :-D
I agree too much white and super modern not a big fan, but some people like how clean it looks
Load More Replies...Yikes, to each their own!! I don't particularly love the "clean white modern look" either, but I can see how someone would like it. It's arranged very well and I'm sure that whoever owns this home loves it, so let it be.
Load More Replies...Not my taste, but it defenitely has taste. Far better than those wall-to-wall capeted overgrown suburban houses that were on those MTV shows back then.
I agree. Will be quoting you on the “Not my taste but has taste.”
Load More Replies...Eh, not really my thing, but you could break a window or hit a pavilion in the right spot and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.
Mr. Bean, is that you? How are you going to hit a tempered hurricane-proof glazing hard enough to break it? You'd have to drive your Austin Mini through it!
Load More Replies...Personal taste. The owner obviously doesn't think it's "ugly".
Load More Replies...All of these are modern designs, many without windows. And there is no need for a comma in the title.
The colours are so muted they all look muddish. Like old faded photos. Allso, not enough plants.
Some people like. Not me I’m more of a boho/cozy vibe house person
Load More Replies...Less dangerous than the sunken living rooms. Plus at least the floors are smooth.
Load More Replies...are the floors raised there in the kitchen, or am I seeing things incorrectly? If so, yet another place for dust and stuff to build up. Shitty design. Also, accesibility.
I have a feeling that those bluish lights would feel tacky in <7 years
Yeah, they look nice, but they cost a lot of money to heat or cool!
also, try to clean those upper windows without hiring a climber ;)
Load More Replies.....and painting the walls are a b*tch. My condo has high ceilings and it's almost suicide getting on a ladder to get to the highest corners.
Load More Replies...All I can imagine is Moriarty with a sledgehammer smashing this place apart.
AND NOT WORTH IT WHEN THE TIME I WOULD SPEND CRINGING AT THE DECO ART WOULD OVERRIDE MY LOVE OF THE WINDOW
Hey, deep breath! In........ and out..... Chill. It's not your house, and I'm sure whoever owns it loves it.
Load More Replies...Of course, women can't drinks beer because ovaries, duh and its been scientifically proven that the shock of going down stairs to mutch will cause your eggs to fall out. Plus girls are scared of the dark so why would they go in the basement, everyone knows that
Load More Replies...Too many edges. My teenage years taught me, there is edginess and there is flat out fashion clinginess
Don't get granite for the kitchen. It soaks up oil and looks horrible after some years.
Load More Replies...This account manager has a thing for overpriced, over-designed, cold interiors. More than interior p*rn, it feels like a money b*ner.
Looks to me like @Interiorporn has certain style preferences. To be honest I got bored looking at the same thing in (almost) every post.
Same. Clinical, hyper modern styles. Nothing quaint nor historically interesting.
Load More Replies...Just pointing out that 90% of the photos are renders - i.e. not real, but computer visualizations (except before/after and maybe some holiday ones).
Here Pandas ..enjoy some pictures of places you will never be able to afford or experience...enjoy!
I came in here expecting to see some cool things, but apparently I was wrong. This is sooo not my taste... These are all too much, too cold, too fake, too intimidating, too clinical, too dark, too depressing and last but not least, totally impersonal. I like colours, warmth, personal decorations and things!
